One pair of shoes ordered online for a very young grandson came without laces. Multiple emails and phone calls (including photos and receipts) received no action. Unacceptable service - and disappointing for the little guy as he made his own choice from checking out the options.

I purchased some shoes from Merrill online and they were not the correct advertised colour or size so I went through the return process. You have to pay $10 for a return label which I did and Merrill sent me a return label. The label was faulty Australia Post would not accept it I contacted Merrill and they said they were having issues with Australia Post and would get back to me. They have not gotten back to me, I have emailed, I have waited for 40 minutes on the phone only to have it cut off, I have gone online to the chat there live chat still nothing. I have contacted them through FB only to get an automated message directing me back to help centre. Merrill have my money and I have a pair of poorly made shoes that are not the right colour as advertised. All I want is to return the shoes. I get automatic messages that tell me to contact the helpdesk I contact the helpdesk and nothing happens. My experience with This company in this instance is a disgrace and I do not recommend, their customer service is atrocious and their shoes are underwhelming with no support. I agree with the bad reviews concerning customer service and quality control. I purchased river sandals and noticed immediately that there was an inside seam defect that would lead to blisters and irritation, at best. I contacted them about a return or exchange, and was ignored.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced . Boots were garbage 165$ , broke in under 10 miles of hiking . Then on customer service wasted over 8 hours of my time because of their incompetence.

The trainers are OK, but I returned as I thought all Merrell had Vibram soles...they dont. You would not beleive the paperwork they put you through to reutrn a pair of trainers. In this day and age in trying to protect the planet...they are awful. Five pages of returns docs! Three copies of the invoice taped to the outside of the box. Anyone would think they were doing this to make you think...is it worth it to rerurn them to go through this pain. Buy off a shop or go to Amazon....your return, if required, will be an awful lot easier.

Rubbish.bought a pair of forestbound boots which started loosing there shape within 2 weeks of light walking . When the rain came my feet were soaked within 10 minutes. Worst walking boots ever.

Size chart not very relevant, kids shoes don't come in wide, however the product page has that option, which is super confusing. Customer service unhelpful, did not advise on choosing size, just sent me to use size chart which does not have measurements. Will not be returning.

Bought a pair of Moab 2 Ventilator online. The shoes are bigger than the Marrells that I tried in the store. I tried with thick socks on. Still the shoes are too big. The turn process is BAD. First, the site does not take my order number and zip. Has to use the chat. Then, they charge $5.00 for the promised "free-return".
