I’ve been wearing Merrell Moab ventilators for what what must be 10 years. I used to buy a pair every 6-8 months. Now it’s every 2-3 (at best!) The soles wear out. The tread wears out. And this pair the stitching has worn out along with the soles and treads! These used to be bullet proof! Now they barely manage my daily walks with the dog! I’ve just checked my Amazon account an and since august I’m on my 5the pair in 9 months! They used to be the best brand around, now I’m looking for something to replace then 😭

They USED to fit great, look great, and never disappointed, no matter what the weather or adventure. Don't know what happened within the company the last few years, but I am turned off of the brand FOREVER! Can't even wear men's shoes that don't rub my toe. And the style and feel of all shoes I've tried and bought recently, is way too chunky. Like, trying to be 80s and trying to be New Age. Basically...trying too hard. Lost the GOOD thing they had.

I bought a pair of Merrell 8" waterproof tactical boots through their Pro Deal division. I wore these boots only two times before I noticed a loud squeak in the sole of the left boot. I called Merrell and they told me to put talcum powder in the boot to stop the noise. That did not work. There is an air bubble inside the sole. I cannot even wear these boots due to the loud squeak noise. Since they were a PRO DEAL discounted boot Merrell refuses to refund them. These boots were a waste of money and are CHINESE made garbage. The fit is not very good and they have poor cushion.

Compré zapatillas de cuero y botas de UP. Me han durado memos de un año pues materiales sintéticos q llevan deshechos, de muy mala calidad. Además zapatillas sin talones para montaña, lo q me produjo lesión en tendones de aquiles. Muy buena vista, pero muy malas para trekking.

Habe mir den Merell Herren Waterpro Maipo 2 Schuh gekauft. Nach dem Urlaub hatte der rechte Schuh einen Schaden. Merell bietet keine Reparatur oder die Lieferung von nur einem Schuh an. Das ist untragbar als Outdoorhersteller und in einer Welt in der Sustainability eine große Rolle spielt ein absolutes Armutszeugnis! Das war das letzte Merellprodukt meines Lebens.

Men's Moab Speed GORE-TEX® I'd seen some of the reviews slating the quality of some of these shoes but I thought as I'd only be wearing them for casual city use and no rough terrain whatsoever they'd serve me well. Unfortunately, after two months the sole is beginning to come away from the main part of the shoe. Genuinely worse quality than Converse that I've had previously.

Worst shoes I ever had.. after no even 2 weeks a hole start forming on the side of the shoes. Ok, annoying but not biggie, then, some of the sole start coming apart and the water got stuck between the plastic layer of the shoes and the fabric And that was a nightmare. I'm on a hiking trip for a few weeks with broken shoes in the middle of nowhere, thank you Merrell. Oh and my boyfriend had the exact same issue with his shoes. We emailed the company they said that his were out of warranty but they will do a refund on my . Now it's been 3 weeks and still not a thing .. So disappointed 😞

I just thought I would leave a review in case it is helpful. I bought the Moab 3 Mid GTX Ladies Hiking Boots. To start with ,I was very ,very pleased ,they were really comfortable , they made my feet feel secure and boosted my walking ,they looked great as a bonus ,also ,apparently they also offered some waterproof protection as well. I was all set for the Moabs to be my 'go to' shoes/boots from now on. Two weeks in ,they've degraded rapidly ,the structured feel of them has deteriorated ,they've started to feel lumpy and shapeless ,like shapeless boats strapped to my feet ,it feels like my feet are now starting to slide around and as I place a step down my feet aren't secure in a good walking position. Also, these boots have started making a noise with each step ,I don't know how to explain it ...it's like the sole is loosened inside and now has some flex ,sort of flapping a bit ,like when you walk in a flip flop and it makes a noise each step ....this is after just two weeks!!! I am mystified as to why they are described as having any waterproof properties , they are not remotely waterproof and soak up any water like a sponge ,I would of been happy just to get a pair of non waterproof comfortable boots for doing walking that would last me for a while ,I thought of the waterproof protection as a bit of a bonus which meant I could stride out across a field of dew laden grass if needed. They are quite expensive and I thought I was paying more for a quality item.I'm exasperated nowadays trying to find any decent walking boots ,it seems like they are all suffering from the same quality issues nowadays. I've bought a replacement pair for £45 now ,and it won't matter so much if they start to degrade. I have vowed to myself that I am not going to spend more than £45 again for any walking boots or shoes. I've also started to keep a look out for any second hand shoes or boots which might be older models or older stock being sold off cheap. I'm not sure if anyone is making any decent boots any more and I don't want to get ripped off again!
