Very disappointing experience with Merlin Casino. The casino advertises a 120% welcome bonus with no wagering requirements, but the actual bonus conditions are much more restrictive than the promotion makes them seem. First of all, the minimum withdrawal was €50, which was not clearly communicated to me before depositing. I only discovered this when I went to the withdrawal page. This is especially frustrating considering that the minimum deposit for the welcome bonus is only €20. The bonus terms are also confusing. The bonus is sticky, there is a €3 maximum bet limit, a 5x maximum withdrawal restriction, and a long list of prohibited games. I also contacted customer support to ask whether Bonus Buys were allowed. The agent told me they were prohibited under section 14.1, even though that section does not explicitly mention Bonus Buys. Instead, it refers generally to strategies intended to exploit the bonus system. When I asked for clarification, support simply stated that the system blocks Bonus Buys and directed me back to the terms. I believe important restrictions like these should be clearly explained before players deposit money, rather than leaving customers to discover them afterwards. Overall, I found the experience frustrating and the terms unnecessarily unclear. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Merlin Casino. 1 star.

I woudn't suggest this casino, welcome bonus system was a rip off. I deposited and end up winning a built my account up to 1400 and went ot cash out and they were like okay you can cash out 200. I said what about the other 1200 and they said it jusyt gets wiped clean. so i played for a good hour possibly 2 to get up to that and then get told i'm only getting 200. and then since it took so long to verify my shit, I ended up saying screw it and played the 200 and lost of course lost it. In their email they even described my activity as “irregular gameplay”, which is a very vague and subjective explanation rather than a clear rule violation. It seems that the casino allows players to deposit and play, but when a player wins they search for technical interpretations of bonus terms to avoid paying out winnings.
