Just got the card. Tried to login the app with the password I know I set up. Didn’t work. They locked the account. Tried to reset password and they want text verification. Fine but they have my old phone number that they must have gotten from my credit report and not my current I know I entered in the application. So I call customer support, who was very nice and polite. I tell him I either need to change the phone number on the account so I can verify through text or an email verification option. They can’t or won’t allow email verification and said they won’t change the phone number until 30 days. But offered to activate the card not leaving me anyway to access online and pay the bill. So I’ll not activate the card and call early next week during business hours to make sure this account gets closed immediately. It’s not worth the hassle to just to get online access to a physical card in my hands on an account I opened. Again, the gentleman helping me was very nice and polite but for whatever company reasons wasn’t able to help. What’s funny is they didn’t bother to get my current number so when they see this review and wanna call for damage control, they’ll be calling whoever ended up with my old phone number so I see no resolution to my experience or this review.

THEY ARE HORRIBLE! I never even received my card however, my card was charged and I disputed it immediately after receiving a text message about the charges. It has been a horrible experience! There are so many credit cards out there, go with someone else. It takes 90 days for them to "investigate" the charges but I still had to make my payments even though I never even received my card. Now after I have made my payments I am trying to get my payment back- WHAT A PAIN!!!

Terribly high interest. I paid my balance off - $2000. And waiting on hold while an agent went to find a supervisor to not charge more interest. Highway robbery!!!!!

I've had my card for about 5 years, no late payments, and just paid off the entire balance two months ago. First off, after selecting 'pay statement balance', I thought the card was paid in full. Nope, they still charged interest a week later. Then, I received a letter in the mail raising my APR by 7%!!! They cite the current economic environment and my credit score (which has only increased over the years, no dings). I immediately closed my account, no customer loyalty exists here.

Everything was fine until I received a letter today stating that there will now be a $150 per year fee, in addition to an APR increase of over 7%, effective December 1, 2025. Bye bye Mercury, you predatory scumbags.

They're increasing the APR to 36%, that is crap and I be canceling my card.

I was a user of this card for about 2 years. Always made my payments on time without issue. Recently, I have received a later stating they are increasing my interest by 5% and adding a $150 yearly fee. They claim this is “to adjust to the markets interest”. In other words, it is their way to scam and take advantage of customers. I am rejecting this change and will be closing my account. Good luck keeping someone from customer service on the phone long enough. They do not understand English well but totally comprehend you when you mention you want to close your account and hang up on you.
