When I found MensGroup I had hit the crawlspace under the basement of rock bottom. I needed a structured way to pull back together and MensGroup popped up on my search. One particular facilitator took me in and nearly 4 years later I am facilitating meetings as well and helping others. Men's Group helped Guide me to Transform Myself into a Man FAR BEYOND what I thought I was ever capable of Creating. Before, I was a Man of Excuses, Laziness, very Unhealthy Eating Habits, Porn Addiction, Easily Angered, Comparing Myself to Everyone, and Looking for the Easy way out. STILL CAN BE THIS MAN, if I ever step away from the Path of ACCOUNTABILITY, HARD WORK, and CONSISTENCY. Now, I'm a Man of SELF COMPASSION, SELF RESPECT, SELF LOVE, SELF CONFIDENCE, UNITY, BETTER LISTENING, and starting to Understanding BALANCE. Most of all, I Stand for All Men! This review reflects my personal experience as a paying member. I joined mensgroup.com after resonating strongly with Sean Galla’s public videos, which came across as welcoming and approachable. Upon joining, I entered the welcome page where Sean Galla personally greeted me. Immediately following that welcome, his post stated in all capital letters: DO NOT CONTACT ME DIRECTLY. I WILL NOT ANSWER YOU!!! For me, that felt like a sharp contrast—being welcomed into the group while simultaneously being told not to reach out. This was very different from the tone presented in the videos. When I later asked how to cancel or disconnect, I wasn’t clearly guided on how to do so. There were two pricing options available, and I believe I selected the higher-priced option by mistake. Sean Galla provided proof to Charles Schwab, and the dispute was resolved in his favor, which I accept as my responsibility. After that, my access to the group was removed, even though I had previously asked how to cancel. This may be a good fit for others, but it wasn’t for me. I’m sharing this simply to honestly reflect my experience and use my voice.

Hi Brian, thanks for writing this. You were right on all points. This reply is also later than it should have been, which was part of the same problem you described. Here's what's changed since. The all-caps note is gone. It was meant to route questions to our support inbox instead of one person's email, but it read as cold...and that's not how anyone should be greeted when they've just decided to join. Cancellation steps are now posted inside the community where members can find them without emailing anyone. Self-serve. We've also cleaned up how the two membership options appear at checkout so picking the wrong one by mistake is harder to do. Our only two options are monthly and annual right now. If you pick annual but meant to pick monthly, that is an easy fix. Guys come to us at a rough moment, and the first impression should match the videos that brought you in. We appreciate you taking the time to voice your concerns. We have just sent you an email to connect and make this right.
