I found it necessary to cancel my move and emailed my “concierge “ 45 hrs later. I did not get a response from her so then called the company to confirm. I was told I didn’t email the correct person and I was 2hr/16min/28secends too late of their 48 hr cancellation policy and they will not refund my $1700 deposit. Their contract is totally in their favor and provides NO CONSUMER protection. Do not use this broker and read all

$2000 move became $7000 move.
I was told by the compony they could move all my stuff cheeper than I could myself. My special offer $2000 move from Iowa to Maryland that I had to accept right away on the phone or lose out on then became a $5000 move two days before the move after sending pictures, seeing that the woman on the phone allotted me only 400 square feet for a two bedroom move, which needed to be increased to 800 square feet. Explaining how they wouldn’t give back my deposit but infant needed me to double it. Then the day of the move with the subcontracter Goodview Moving and Storage, who were originally slotted to come between 10 am and 2 pm eventually came at 9pm, took one look at the room packed and showed pictures of (unchanged) then increased the square footage again to 1200 feet and $7000 dollars. Refusing to move anything until I payed the increased amount and sitting in their truck. They also unlike before where I was able to use my credit card for the deposit, only accepted check, cash, or Zelle. Paying half at loading and the other half unloading. I was scammed in every sense of the word and should have just U-Haul everything myself.

I am sharing my experience as a serious…
I am sharing my experience as a serious warning to anyone considering using this moving company or booking a move through a broker connected to them. This was by far one of the most stressful and unprofessional service experiences I have ever dealt with, and I strongly recommend avoiding this company entirely.
This move was booked through a broker (Menards), who verbally promised a much shorter delivery timeframe of 6 days. In reality, it took approximately 41 days for my belongings to arrive. Throughout the entire process, communication was inconsistent, misleading, and often nonexistent.
From the beginning, there were issues. I was initially told there would be two movers at pickup and that the quoted price included the necessary moving supplies. Instead, only one person arrived and did not have basic moving materials such as blankets, tape, or boxes. I was then told those supplies would cost extra. The mover attempted to increase the final price by roughly 30% over the original estimate and claimed there would be approximately $400 in additional supply charges. Only after significant discussion did the company agree to honor the original estimate with an added $200 charge.
We also specifically requested an inventory list at pickup and were told it would be provided the next morning. Instead, the shipment left before any inventory was provided. After repeated requests, I finally received the inventory list approximately 48 hours later.
Once my belongings were in transit, getting updates became nearly impossible. I repeatedly contacted both the broker and the moving company asking where my belongings were and when they would arrive, but I rarely received clear answers or consistent communication. After weeks without reliable information, I was seriously concerned my belongings had been lost.
The delivery process was just as unacceptable. After waiting approximately 41 days, I received a text message at 6:00 a.m. stating delivery would occur at 10:00 a.m. the same day. When I explained that I was at work and unable to coordinate a move with only four hours notice, I was immediately threatened with $650 PER DAY storage charges if delivery could not be completed. Communication then stopped again until the following day Where I was given a 1 hour notice of delivery. After communicating I needed a couple hours notice to coordinate for delivery communication stopped once again and the threat of a $650 charge came into play again.
When delivery was finally attempted, I was told the semi-truck could not access my complex and that I would need to pay an additional $500 shuttle fee. This explanation made little sense considering multiple semi-trucks regularly access my complex without issue. To avoid paying yet another surprise fee, I agreed to have the mover leave all my items on the front lawn of my place and then I proceeded to move all the stuff into my house by myself.
Upon arrival, payment was demanded before unloading. Although I understand payment before unloading can be standard practice, I was not even allowed to visually confirm my belongings were present until payment was made in full. They also told me I needed to sign a paper stating that all my stuff was accounted for and not damaged. When I refused to sign this paper they threatened me with another $150 delay fee.
Between the excessive delays, constant communication failures, repeated attempts to charge additional fees, last-minute scheduling demands, lack of professionalism, and pressure tactics throughout the process, this experience felt far more focused on extracting additional money from people than providing quality moving services. I strongly encourage anyone considering this company to look elsewhere.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Terrible service, try to increase price as they pick up household goods. Items delivered 27 days later than scheduled with much damage. Called company 15 times in a three week period. They kept providing delivery dates and did not meet them. Worst experience ever.

Cannot get a hold of the person that…
Cannot get a hold of the person that helped me set up my move. They brokered out to another company which is charging me more than quoted. Called Menards as I was quoted that my belongings would be here in 11 days, the girl I spoke with cussed at me and hung up on me. DO NOT GO THROUGH THIS COMPANY TERRIBLE

Beware of this company
Menards brokered my move from TN to FL with a company called Handle with Care Moving & Transportation LLC based out of Georgia. My furnishings were never delivered and are now either being held hostage by Handle with Care Moving & Transportation LLC in some non-disclosed remote location or they have been picked through and stolen by them, or auctioned off. Repeated attempts to access my furnishings and resolve this amicably have been unsuccessful. Menards acted as the broker and was paid their fee. At this point, I have lost the monev that was paid to Menards as well as all of my furnishings. In my opinion, I have been a victim of theft. What else should this be called? As Menards is a broker. I would expect them to vet the people that work for/with them. In hindsight, however, they just farmed out my move to two thieves with a Budget rental truck who moved my furnishings and drove off into the sunset. They could care less for my furnishings as they just wanted to pocket a fee. So I basically paid a broker fee to Menards for my property to be stolen from me. This is outrageous. I have video/photos of the rental truck and the license plate and police reports have been filed. The actual move was done by Handle with Care Moving & Transportation, LLC but was brokered by Menards. As a customer, Menards had no regard for what happened to me even though they were responsible for selecting the moving company that was used. I have no intricate knowledqe of the moving business but I definitely could have done a better job if I brokered the move myself. Both Menards and Handle with Care Moving & Transportation LLC have been nonresponsive and/or noncooperative after many phone calls and emails. Menards actually hung up on me after they had charged me their fee. This is unethical behavior and they need to be called out on it.
