MeijerReviews of meijer.com

Every time I visit Meijer store, seeing DePree always brightens my day. He constantly goes above and beyond helping shoppers find electric carts, assisting people with their groceries whenever they need extra support, and greeting everyone with a warm, bright smile. He truly loves helping people and engaging with the community. While all the greeters at this location do a fine job, DePree stands out as one of the best greeters I have ever seen. He is easily one of the nicest, most welcoming greeters working at the store. We truly enjoy seeing him when we shop. Thank you, Meijer for having such an exceptional greeter on your team!

Every time I go to Meijer, my nerves get jangled by the crowded aisles (all times of day or night), often unhelpful or unavailable staff, hard to find or unavailable merchandise, expired produce and other products, questionable prices which seem to go up and down on a whim, easily expired coupons and products, only one cashier available despite long lines and numerous registers, and long wait times for DIY cash registers. DIY cash register cameras turn on the "wait for assistance" light each and every time I make an awkward movement, which makes me feel like I'm being accused of being a common thief. Having used the Meijer pharmacy, I often receive a message that a prescription is ready for pickup, and I drive all the way there to find that there is no prescription at all, so I have to go home and wait another week or two for the prescription to be filled. It's like pulling teeth to get the internet texting setup to communicate properly with the pharmacy staff. I'm so frustrated that I do not plan on going to Meijer anymore at all.

This company allows scammers to use there site as a form of laundering when you call them for help you get nothing but the runaround stay away from them it’s for your own good

I used to shop at Kroger's but became concerned when an investigation was opened into their practices regarding seniors. I then decided to try Meijer which I previously used at my former address. However, now I an using a different Meijer, the one in Rossford. This is about the third time I've used this store. I had just alright experiences until today. My delivery window was between 1:00 and 2:00 PM. However, I got a text asking if they could deliver earlier. I responded by texting back no, that I would be at lunch. I returned to my apartment by 1:00 PM ad awaited my delivery. I was located at a chair near to my door so I would hear a knock. It was about 2:00 PM and I still hadn't heard anything. I looked at my cell phone and saw a texted photo of my groceries sitting outside my door in the hallway. This forced me to pick up my grocery bags and bring them into my apartment. I chose delivery because I have physical limitations. I have ambulatory and lumbar disc issues which make it difficult to stoop and pick up things. However, I was given no choice unless I wanted to leave my groceries in the hallway (I live in a senior residence). Moreover, when I got the items into my apartment I realized I was missing an eight pound bag of apples. However, I do not know if I was charged for the apples since I never got a receipt. later when I returned to the Meijer website they didn't even recognize my sign-in password which I had written down. I texted them my order number asking for a receipt and am still waiting. In desperation I called their 800 number which was supposed to be operational until 10:00 PM. I made the calls at 7:51 PM. No one ever answered. I am fed up!!!!! Frankly, I don't know where else to shop to deliver. I am extremely frustrated by this treatment and am waiting for Meijer to make it "right". I have yet to hear back from customer service. Also, after "dumping" my groceries in my hallway my shopper failed to respond to my texts asking questions about my "delivery".

Meijer has been generally good everytime I visit. Staff were friendly and helpful when I couldn't find something. I'm only taking away 1 star as I think they can improve the availability of their products. Re-stocking seems to be delayed.

Stephanie at Meijer Deli Rossford OH made an excellent Royal Rolls deli tray for a funeral visitation I attended! I was very appreciative of the prompt service and care. The tray was just what I needed.

I am sick and tired of you offering these mperks rewards and as soon as I get $5 or more you kick me out I'm sick of it you people are idiots to keep kicking people off I will not be shopping there anymore and I want my five bucks and I'm going to tell everybody

The worst training you can find. Their business has the worst people because all you do for training is these preset modules assigned to you. You sit in a cubicle for hours on end doing repetitive content. Once you actually get to do you job for the first day, you have to then start training but you’re expected to operate like a tenured employee. On top of that, people here couldn’t care less about stocking and FIFO doesn’t matter. Not even higher ups will do anything about it because: “people don’t care, they don’t pay attention. That’s their problem, not ours.”
