As you know there are not a lot of tutoring companies that work with Step 3 exam takers. I had to repeat Step 3 and had contacted a few other tutoring companies but I chose medlearnity because they specifically paired me with a tutor named Anthony who works exclusively with people who have to retake their exam. Anthony is knowledgeable, non judgemental, and does a great job breaking down difficult concepts. My weakness was biostats and after working with him I increased my overall score by 14 points compared to my first exam. I couldn't recommend him enough and the owner Meg was in constant communication with me whenever I had questions or if there were issues with the schedule or payments. I appreciate everyone at Medlearnity and I'm forever grateful for finding them. If you're looking for a comprehensive tutor, who will work with your schedule and help you to pass your exam then Medlearnity is your choice!

I don't even know where to begin-- this has been a long and arduous journey. I have never been the most amazing test-taker, but the Core was a beast of its own. After faltering numerous times, something had to change. I recognized that the usual resources just weren't working for me, no matter how hard I tried. That's when I found MedLearnity and Haigreev. Haigreev is legit a phenomenal tutor and an even greater person. He listened carefully when I explained the ways in which I had attempted to slaughter this beast, and he was attuned to my specific learning style. He recommended resources to me that proved to be immensely high yield, and his tutoring sessions helped me to better understand the exam and the approach I should take when answering questions. I can honestly say that I did not study as hard for the exam this time around, but I definitely studied smarter, and that made all the difference in finally conquering this beast. If you are in this situation, please know that you can do it-- and having the right guidance is part of the battle to slay this beast.

Anthony is a fantastic tutor. He is the best when you really don't know anything about a topic and doesn't make you feel stupid, especially when you know you should know the topic. He taught me some very meaty subjects in 2 hours flat and I felt substantially more comfortable with them afterwards and my scores showed the improvement. Super flexible scheduling which is great for us. Available on weekends AND nights which was fabulous.

I worked with Sai (Haigreev) for about 2 months (11 sessions total) leading up to my ABR Core re-exam. I needed a substantial score increase from my first attempt in June and was nervous about whether such an improvement was feasible by November. Sai was extremely professional, kind, calm, and encouraging throughout. Each session started with reviewing my study progress and strategizing what to focus on next, then we reviewed my most challenging questions from that week's studying and/or worked through practice questions he had prepared. He made recommendations on resources and qbanks, shared Anki decks he had used himself, and even helped me troubleshoot my Anki settings. What I found most helpful was how he identified which topics were truly high yield versus what I could skip given our time constraints. I passed my re-exam! Beyond helping me pass, the study techniques he taught me will be valuable for the rest of my training. I have worked with Anthony R for 3 years now on ABSITE and then ABS written and ABS oral boards. I am a board certified general surgeon now. He helped my increase my ABSITE scores in residency significantly and got me to a place where I wasn’t nervous for the real boards!
