Not having typical insurance, I am unfortunately leery of getting some types of treatment because of the cost. The physical therapy department at St. Luke's Chequamegon Clinic told me about MDSave. I honestly didn't think it was going to be worth it until the therapist said "You have saved at least half of the cost!" by purchasing through MDSave. I am so grateful for this money saving service for those of us who do not have typical insurance. Highly recommend!

The staff at TMC were given the opportunity through MD Save for some testing. I took the opportunity and am now glad I did. The scheduling staff were very helpful in getting my appointment set up, even when I had to reschedule. The registration/check-in was easy and the radiology staff were very nice during the whole process.

When our local hospital finance office called 5 days before I was scheduled for a diagnostic heart scan, they said the procedure is not covered by Medicare. I then called my supplementary health insurance company and was told the same. They don't cover the cost if Medicare doesn't. Because of the unexpected high cost, I cancelled the scan. Still dubious as to how the lower cost would be acceptable since I had already cancelled the scan, she said, if you sign into MDSave and pre-pay, we can do the scan today. I entered everything on my phone and used my credit card to pay. The woman at the desk entered the code and I went down the hall for my scan. Even though MDSave offers their own credit card for financing, this site I chose to use my own card. At 80 years of age, I'm still wondering how shopping online for healthcare service savings is even possible. Thank you so much.

I work in the medical field and have a high deductible health plan. I use MDsave whenever I can! I have had new patient visits, MRI's and most recently an x-ray. They include the radiologists reading which is HUGE savings. Also, if there is a change of plans, they are flexible: refund or exchange voucher for what you need. I turn my receipt into insurance and get credit towards my deductible still. My imaging center just looks up vouchers too! No need for paperwork.
