I purchased a voucher for a CT scan
I purchased a voucher for a CT scan. They had an internal dispute between their contracted provider about an extra fee for reading the scan. After the procedure was complete, MDSAVE tried to refund my voucher and leave me to pay for the CT scan PLUS the additional reading the scan fee. It was very stressful (during my already stressful medical situation) and took a lot of time writing emails and making phone calls. After threatening MDSAVE with legal action and preparing to report them for reneging on their contract, they finally agreed to honor the voucher and cover the costs of the entire procedure. I am currently waiting to see if this action gets completed. I have found MDSAVE untrustworthy and dishonorable because they continued to dishonor their contract and leave me holding extra charges until they were faced with their actions on the verge of being reported to the Office of the Attorney General. Update: They have been totally unresponsive and they have not paid my provider bill. I am having to escalate my case.
