The hospital I use was owed money from when I had no insurance and needed emergency surgery. Had it not been for MDSave I wouldn’t have gotten the tests and necessary prep that saved my life.

The experience was good overall. However some of the information i was provided about where I was going for surgery was outdated and had the wrong address. Also the provider has still tried to bill me on several occasions after the procedure. The vouchers seem to be confusing to the billing departments. Other than that it all went pretty smooth.

They arranged the procedure as advertised. BUT: They gave me the wrong address, resulting in me being late. And it took 3 tries, as MDsave does not vet those who advertise on it, and it took me that many times to find one that was (mostly) legit. Fortunately, MDsave is scrupulous about their refund policy.

The lower cost was helpful. The place that frustrated me was ordering tests. I couldn't figure out what the doctor was ordering because the verbiage was different I ended up canceling the sleep-study
