I hate these emails
Up dated 6/27/22
Mdsaveteam.
These emails where the reply button does not work.
But, the share and edit buttons do work.
Don't know who signed me up for these.
I'll just keep the negative reviews coming as long as you send me BS emails
Update 7/7/22
Still getting useless emails from trustpilot.
I'll happily unsubscribe when a button is installed. If I have to waste my time I may as well write bad reviews.

Hi Chris! Could you give me a little more information about what emails you are receiving that you'd like to turn off? Happy to help you find the unsubscribe button in our templates if I know what emails you are referring to - MDsave Team
Update 7/7/22 - Hi Chris—we hate unwanted emails as much as you do, and all of our emails should already have unsubscribe links. I'd be glad to help get it sorted out for you but need to know which email you're referring to first. I'll reach out directly for more information.

This company shouldn’t exist
This company shouldn’t exist, you shouldn’t be able to get a coupon for medical care. It’s medical care, not a sale on toilet paper.
Response from MDsaveJun 27, 2022
Hi Josef, we're sorry to hear you aren't interested in our services that help connect patients to the same high quality healthcare services they always receive from their providers, just available at our network negotiated rates. We hope you will reconsider using us in the future and happy to answer any questions you might have about how our services work. - In Good Health, MDsave Team

Buyer beware!! Providers Do not honor purchases.
Purchased voucher for doctors visit through MDsave.com. Made appointment for visit, at the time of scheduling the appointment mentioned having the voucher from MDsave and everything seemed fine. Went to appointment and office refused to take voucher stating they have not accepted vouchers for a long time. Keep my appointment and saw the doctor not I have a bill from the doctor for $285 and paid $150 for a voucher that couldn’t be used.I have called MDsave multiple times to resolve the issue and keep getting the run around that they are taking care of it. It’s been more than a month now. Not sure anyone cares to resolve anything. Do NOT trust that the vouchers MDsave offers will be honored by any of their listed providers.

Working with the site on the details of this case. Updated: I worked with hospital leadership and this has been resolved. Patient has a zero balance. The physician's Office Manager said that they do accept MDsave vouchers and this was a misunderstanding on their part. They have tried to reach the patient twice today to clear this up.

Wrong Doctor
You erroneously send my results to a Dr. other than mine, who was identified on the paperwork I completed prior to my test, without my authorization which can be viewed as a HIPPA violation.
Response from MDsaveMay 24, 2022
MDsave never receives medical records or test results. The facility needs to be contacted to resolve this issue. We will reach out to them and let them know about this concern. UPDATE: facility was contacted and they confirmed that they sent the results to the provider the patient requested.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I GET TO PAY THE BILL
Super annoyed. I'm sitting here with a final notice for payment for labs. I contacted them the second I got the first bill and was like what's going on? Many emails later and still no info. So yeah, don't trust these people. I liked the idea of paying what they claim to be the full price of the labs and then get slammed with a big old bill. I would give zero stars because these people almost caused me to get sent to collections with their BS promises of getting to the bottom of it.
"I apologize for the delay. I was unexpectedly away from the office. We are still working with the facility's billing to ensure this is corrected, as the services you are receiving a bill for are covered by your MDsave voucher and have been paid. I will notify you with any update I receiver as well as let you know once we have a final resolution."
This is just one of MANY exchanges I've had with them. STILL NO RESOLUTION!
Maybe not do business with them. I ended up having to pay extra money so I didn’t go to collections and this is twice in the past two months I’ve gotten this “sorry I was out of the office excuse with zero communication with it”.

Hi Stacy,
First, I’d like to express how truly sorry my team is that this happened. We're disappointed that our communication with you left much to be desired. While we have been diligently working behind the scenes with the lab company that has been sending you bills, we failed to communicate those efforts to you and keep you updated on the situation. We’re still working on getting a settlement for you (and the other patients who have been incorrectly billed by this lab), but we recognize how frustrating it was for you to not know what was going on and why you were being billed for anything. The bill was issued in error, and recognizing that you have already paid it, we will be issuing you a full refund — for the incorrect bill and your original purchase amount. Additionally, we are working on implementing several process improvements to our internal communications workflow to ensure this doesn’t happen again — to you or any other patients.
We always aim to deliver exceptional customer service, and I am gutted that we weren’t able to live up to these expectations for you. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and we commit to doing everything we can to do better next time.
My team would love another chance to earn your business once we've made this right. If there's anything else we can do to that end, please contact JoAnne Marks, Director of Support Services, at her direct line: 615-624-0687.
Best,

Implied you could apply to deductible…
Implied you could apply to deductible with your insurance. Wrong. Need to be up front with patients.
Response from MDsaveNov 13, 2020
Hi Carol,
We are so sorry that this happened! We try to make it clear that while you may be able to apply your purchase to your deductible, eligibility is ultimately determined by your insurance company and depends on your plan. We're always available to help give patients what they need to submit their purchase to their insurance company to see if it's eligible to be applied to their deductible, but whether or not that payment counts towards the deductible is entirely up to the insurance company. We hope this helps clarify the situation, and please message us if you would like to discuss your case further with our Patient Concierge Team! (Devon, MDsave team member)

MDsave Lied to Me and is a Scam for the Insured
I had a colonoscopy scheduled when I received a call from the hospital offering me a discount if I used MDsave and paid in full in advance of my procedure. They said the payment that I made would count toward the deductible on my insurance. Big lie! I have spent several months trying to get Blue Cross Blue Shield to coordinate with MDsave, with no luck. This program is designed for uninsured people, and I was lied to when I was told it would count toward my insurance.
Response from MDsaveNov 20, 2020
Hi Margaret,
We apologize for any miscommunication! MDsave is for out-of-pocket purchases—we don’t file claims to your insurance. If you have a deductible, your insurance company will decide if your MDsave purchase will count towards it, but we can help you submit your request. We have many patients successfully get their MDsave purchases applied to their deductible, but eligibility ultimately depends on your specific plan and insurer. Please reach out if you would like to discuss your situation further with our Patient Concierge Team! Thanks! (Devon, MDsave team member)
