This has literally been the worst doctor experience ever. After filling out all the information with my medical history the doctor call 5 mins later. He’s very brief on the phone asking me about my symptoms and then says it sounds like I may have Covid 19?!? I literally had no symptoms of this, no trouble breathing no chest pain no cough. I questioned this and he said there’s nothing he can do I should go to urgent care and ended the call. I think it’s ridiculous this service promotes itself as the same as seeing a doctor but only talk to me for 5 mins, misdiagnose me and then referred me to urgent care but issues no refund. You didn’t do anything smh this is definitely a scam

Quick, easy, & professional! So grateful for this and the doctors that have made being able to be seen and heard so incredibly fast and convenient. My doctor was spot on with my issue. I received a quick diagnosis and medication prescription.

Doc was punctual and professional. The benefits of remote medical consultation are exponential: in addition to the obvious benefits of not leaving the house (travel & exposure), I appreciate interacting with a doctor (usually just see a mid level at office), and the MDLive doctors contact me on time (vs. long wait times at office - usually over 30 min. from actual appointment time). This is an excellent service!

Prior Approval The initial visit went well. The doctor prescribed a topical gel and sent it to my pharmacy. The pharmacy found out from my insurance company that a Prior Authorization (PA) from the doctor is required. I gave them whatever information I could. After 10 days of multiple phone calls to MDLIVE, CVS Caremark, my doctor and my insurance company, I still do not have approval. The clinic where the doctor works told my pharmacist they "don't do PAs". My insurance company said they couldn't help and that I should have asked the doctor if a PA is required -- how would I have known to ask that? So today I gave up and had to meet online with my doctor and will be charged for an office visit. She will reissue the prescription with the required PA. My visit with MDLIVE was a waste of time and money and caused significant additional time for me, my pharmacist and my doctor with no resolution. MDLIVE should not be contracting with a doctor who is unwilling to complete the job.

I spoke with the doctor about the medicines I had taken that were ineffective and the prescription he recommended is working very well to clear up my infection!

Easy to make the appointment and the doctors I've encountered so far are kind and knowledgeable. I am very grateful to have this type of appointment available to me and that I don't have to fear seeking a diagnosis during this pandemic.

Amazed by efficiency of receiving help quickly. Upon contacting MDLIVE, I was able to schedule a phone appointment at a convenient time. After talking with a professional doctor about my problem, I was given advice and a prescription that was immediately sent to my pharmacy. I called my pharmacy within minutes of my appointment. They said my prescription was ready for pick-up. I received help quickly, without leaving my home. What a wonderful service, especially during this corona virus pandemic.
