Good for Common Diagnostics; But Not for Other Symptoms
For any common symptoms like the cold or flu-like symptoms, MDLive with a certified physician is really convenient, especially during this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. But anything other than that, either a phone or video call is not sufficient to diagnose other specific issues.

Referrals, orders, prescription
These doctors should be able to put in orders to have lab work / blood work done. I don’t get the reason for using this if the doctors can’t refer, write prescriptions, etc.

Caring and attentive
I had a problem in the middle of the night and the doctor was great! Very attentive and caring. Not frustrated or stressed like the urgent care and Er doctors seem to be.

Difficulty with scheduling follow up appointment
My first visit went smooth as silk, but when I tried to schedule a follow up a appt, it was a disaster. I was limited to drop box for reasons for my follow up and that did not include my reason, not even close. I ended up calling the helpline and was asked numerous questions that had nothing to do with my follow up. I was unable to lookup the therapist I wanted to see and her available times as I was able to do on the first visit. I thought what should have been a very simple task turned into an ordeal. I canceled the whole appointment and will not us MDLIVE again.
