They stole multiple gaming consoles (xbox, switch, vita), expensive sony headphones, two controllers, a phone, and much more from me and refused to reimburse me for it, saying to file a police report instead and that I don't qualify for a claim because i signed the inventory paperwork already, which i was pressured and rushed to do quickly before unpacking everything btw, since the mover claimed he had "so many more" jobs to get to and couldn't help me unpack all the stuff even though that's the service I paid for. I also caught him checking a few things off on the sheet himself, which he isn't supposed to do, especially before I got a chance to check all the contents of the boxes. And you'll love this... My property manager also had to come tell me they left two large boxes and two pieces of furniture on the floor below me overnight that had a lot of valuable stuff in them. They didn't even bother to bring it to the right floor with the other stuff they dropped off. Just completely negligent and incompetent, will never use them again and urge anyone else to avoid, avoid, AVOID at all costs. They also were super late loading day, taking like 5 to 6 hours longer than the estimated time frame and giving me false calls saying they would be there in under an hour, only to take another few hours to get there, which delayed me being able to give my apartment keys to apartment staff. I'm also pretty sure I heard one of them insult me while I was walking my luggage to my Uber right after shaking hands with one of the movers. Thank God I took the PS5, gaming laptop, and game collection on my flight or they would have for sure taken all that too. So predictable.

Mayflower’s sales pitch rested heavily on their reputation for careful treatment of the possessions they move. In fact, during my recent cross-country move, they broke two legs of my pool table, scratched the surface of my wood dining table, lost two of the knobs of my bureau, and broke a part off my antique corn sheller. Their sales pitch also included the assertion that their quote included what they described in our meeting as “full replacement value” of my possessions. This turned out to be an extremely misleading description of the actual coverage, and their insurance division’s response was entirely unsatisfactory. Despite the fact that all of the damage was the result of the carelessness of their employees, their payment covered less than half my actual loss.

Lori in the office was great. My furniture was shipped from Massachusetts to ft Lauderdale. Some of my furniture was damaged. May flower gave my furniture to a second company in Florida they use and I was not aware of a second company in the mix. The man entered my apartment and dropped my nightstand straight on the floor and damaged it, they also sliced into my chair and tried to hide it. This move through Allied was $2300 2 years ago and May Flower charged $4800. Allied is not located in my area no more thats why I had to use May flower.

I would like to warn all customers buying any Mayflower show tickets. I brought six tickets in May 2024 for Aladdin show in September 2024. I had paid £19.25 for tickets protection, total paid £294.24. When I had phone the Mayflower to inform them that two people could not make this show in two days time they told me to fill in a claim form with the tickets protection group as the . mayflower does not give refunds. Once you go on line to complete the claims form regardless your personal reason you will need to provide written documents from the authorities stating that you are in hospital, and employers note to state you are working on the show date, if you are ill they want a doctor note to say you were ill, if you died they want a copy of the death certificate. If you don't include these required documents then say goodbye to your hard earned cash regardless of the amount. And the Mayflower will not help you obtain your money. So never ever buy ticket protection, it is a con 🤬
Me
Most of our wood furniture was damaged. Between my wife and I we have moved approx. 30 times in our lives. We purchased full replacement value and videoed/photoed all of our wood furniture. Their repair contractor, Schatzman Claims, sent out a person who had a couple years experience fixing couches. The contractor sells itself as being a "full service furniture repair" company, but couldn't perform simple wood finish repair work, so most of our furniture was deemed "unrepairable." Claims group 4, Heather Sherburn, lowballed every value and item we presented and tried to replace all our "unrepairable" with significantly inferior products. Their initial offer allowed us to keep all of our items even those they paid full replacement value one. When we challenged the values they assigned and the products they wanted to replace ours with, they decided they would salvage every item we disputed. They did add one item we did not dispute to the salvage list. I set of items they extremely lowballed us on was a set of wooden shelves built by craftsmen. It was three units measuring 10 feet in length. The company did not put a label on it or any type of markings. We found a replacement meeting the exact description for several thousand more than their initial offer. We had to show label or a receipt in order for the company to accept our claim. Didn't their contractor provide a detailed description of the items? The other option was to be in arbitration for a couple years while our household remained in disarray. Several items she had photos/videos of from before the move without damage were damaged during the move. Claims Team 4 and Heather Sherburn determined the damage was preexisting, even though we had photographic evidence that the items were not damaged prior to the move and showed up with significant damage after the move. Our options was to remain in disarray for a couple years while our claim moved through arbitration or accept their lack of customer service and good faith practices. Not only will I not recommend Mayflower to any friends who move, I would recommend they find someone else. Three drunk with a truck would be better. In the end we settled for ~$8,000 less than the replacement value of our damaged items because one of my wife's disabilities is OCD.

Mayflower is the worst company that we've encountered in 20+ years of multiple moves. In a nutshell, the delivery crew were total disaster. Flavor of the day was "rush rush rush".... totally ignoring the "fragile" items that were clearly marked (including computer monitors) and throwing them around as though they were pillow cases! To add insult to injury, they damaged our new home during delivery. Fortunately the builder repaired the damages since it was under warranty! We ended up paying close to $20K for nothing. Stay away from this company... they are nothing but bunch of crooks. Check them out at BBB... 1.3 out of 5!!
