I received a security alert from my credit card company when I placed my order with Max Aroma. I was required to verify my purchase from this company. This caused me to be suspicious. I always have a different shipping and billing address on my orders. The 2 addresses I use are on file with my credit card company and I have used these 2 addresses on my orders for over 18 years. The fact that this company is the first to question this and require me to send a copy of my drivers license is suspicious to me. I cancelled my order. be careful. 10/18/18 To respond to Max Aromas response. I contacted customer service via email : here is all of the conversation I have been receiving calls from someone claiming to be from Max Aroma by the name of Adam with a number of 202-204-0003 ext-1002 saying they need to verify information. I have not returned this call as many scams originate from this area code. My order number is OR330XX if there is a problem with my order please contact me thru email thank you. Max Aroma response: Sincerely,Thank you for your email .Yes that is correct Adam tried to call you to verify your shipping and billing address ,but he will not be in the office until thursday .Please call our office and talk to Sonia .The phone number is 212-204-0003 EXT 1003 Since you have different shipping and billing address the credit card processing company asking us to get more information from you to protect you . I have never had to give "MORE INFORMATION" on any purchase I have made using my 2 addresses in over 18 years. Max Aroma did credit my card the full amount.

I constantly receive my products in bags and as such there is damage to the packaging. In addition I constantly leave messages requesting that my item be shipped in a box but they do not honour my request or respond. Poor service on max aroma's part.

be careful before you make a purchase with this company. They will not let you return in case u change your mind or find cheaper elsewhere. They will charge you restocking and shipping fees if you return. MaxAroma replied to my feedback below and its purely lies... they told me that I couldn’t return the item because their policy doesn’t allow when Item are opened. And if I want to return I would lose 20% restocking fees and shippinng cost. This is not a good company. Please buy from Notino they’re very good honest business and will help you until you satisfied.

Made a payment with Amazon payment and apparently the payment wasn't successful. There was no notification of an issue until I checked myself. So here I was waiting for a fragrance that would of neevr came.

Can’t get any help

back in December i ordered 2 bottles of perfume and only one was sent. since the missing bottle was to be a Christmas gift, and time was running out, I had to purchase a replacement from a local store. Id kindly asked customer service for a refund for the missing bottle and they refused and sent a replacement bottle that I did not need at that point since id already replaced it locally. So the bottle shows up and I write customer service and ask if I can return it and get my money back and they completely stop responding to my emails and Im stuck with a bottle of perfume I cannot use. Its just insane they never explained what happened to the first bottle, then stick me with a replacement and IGNORE me once I told them i didn't need the replacement. Just rude! shop somewhere where the company cares about its customers concerns. *****UPDATE -- after I made my original review the company I reviewed quickly replied back, as you should be able to see, and they'd mentioned something about contacting them about concerns - but guess what? I took a chance and wrote them back with my concerns about my order with them. I thought maybe them ignoring my the first time around was maybe an accident. Boy was I wrong! I wrote them back, explained my issues and they NEVER replied. Maybe an email gets overlooked here and there, but TWO??? this company has a bad pattern of ignoring customers and Ill never shop with them again as they clearly dont care once they get your money. Shop with extreme caution with them.

Ordered from this website 4 times, 3 times out of those 4 times my package has been lost. Customer Service reps usually don't offer any useful resolution to the situation. I am still waiting for my refund for the last order that I never received, more than 72 hours have passed and still nothing. This will be my last time ordering from this company.

I returned a perfume to them (which was tracked as delivered). I returned, because they sold me expired perfume. They did not refund my money. They also stopped responding to my emails. They have the perfume AND my money.
