Resolved: Tia was refunded in full and the seller covered return shipping, so this cost her nothing out of pocket. Two things went wrong on this order. The package sat in the carrier's network far longer than it should have, and the tracking status stopped matching reality, which is why our team couldn't give her a straight answer on timing when she asked. Then what arrived wasn't what she ordered. Neither of those is hers to absorb. Mavigadget is a marketplace. We list from hundreds of brands, including Kickstarter and Indiegogo launches, Shark Tank companies, independent design studios and inventors bringing a first product to market. Each one handles their own fulfillment. That's how the catalog stays full of things you won't find in a big-box store. All eight items were delivered. This order shipped in separate parcels, so the first two arrived ahead of the remaining six, which came through afterward. Mavigadget is a marketplace. We list from hundreds of brands, including Kickstarter and Indiegogo launches, Shark Tank companies, independent design studios and inventors bringing a first product to market. Each ships from their own facility, which is how the catalog stays full of things you won't find in a big-box store. The tradeoff is that an order spanning multiple brands arrives in multiple parcels over a few days rather than in one box. Each parcel has its own tracking. Everything on this order is accounted for. The product the customer purchased is specifically designed to support individuals with special needs. Due to the nature of this product, our clear policy, communicated to the customer multiple times via email that states that once the product has been opened, assembled, and used, it cannot be returned. This policy exists to protect the well-being of those who rely on these products; allowing returns or reselling could pose risks and complications for people with special needs. Despite this strict no-return policy, we made an exception in this case to accommodate the customer. We coordinated with the seller and covered the full cost of the product to ensure the buyer could return it. We also arranged for the seller to responsibly dispose of the returned item to prevent any risk of it being resold or reused improperly.
