when your opinion comes with a cost!!
It is difficult to understand the line of questioning related to the screening process, which is supposed to determine your eligibility for the survey. This is the first time that I am being paid for submitting opinion online (most of my online work has been voluntary). It will be interesting to note whether the idea of being paid for my opinion is able to shake up the puritan in me and whether my opinion continues to remain valued (despite the inherent streak of criticism).

Love Experience but payment...
I love the experience and level of questions but payment is a issue. I did not receive yet and maybe due to trnafer process. It is more easy if you utlize WISE card because you can transfer directy in dolar currency.

Beware of survey requests
For the most part I've had good experiences with Maven. However, they tend to fall short on reimbursement for surveys. I've encountered several instances where a payment was offered to take a survey but after all the questions were answered, the survey completed, the Maven client decided I wasn't a fit. In essence they gained market research without paying for it. The Maven response was that I wasn't qualified so no payment.

Good projects. Poor payment system
The consultation was rewarding and directly related to my professional experience. These are the types of engagements that I wish would come to me more often. The not so good news is that Maven's payment processing is much slower than any other platform that I have worked with in the past. They should have at most a 48-hour turnaround for gift cards including Visa or Mastercard. Instead, it takes ten business days. Longer if you want the money to be deposited into your checking account directly. Paypal has been doing this for years and their turnaround is within 24 hours. There is no excuse for this not to happen in a shorter timeframe.

OK platform, but can use improvement
It's a good platform for occasional consulting work - I get infrequent but interesting jobs in my field that I am happy to provide service for. However, Maven are slow to respond to emails, or in many cases don't respond at all. That is frustrating. The payment system is also bit weird - they seem to try to avoid paying you out cash by the way they have constructed it - and when you do want the cash, it takes a while to arrive.
