Sparx maths is AI slop. Has SO many problems: They just expect you to know the answer with barely any help. THE BOOKWORK (I don't do it) Different pages for questions and answers.(Very distracting) Not even personalised Friends take HOURS on questions. GSCE level questions for KS3 students Why can't you get the question wrong? Half the time the questions are explained badly. Just use AI I'd rather do written homework and get the odd detention for leaving it at home.

Normally, if you have Maths Homework, it would be dreadful, but this takes it to a whole new level. Schools are effusive with this homework app. These unnecessary features are so enraging. The 'bookwork' code is such a waste of time. I spend 2 hours crossing out written methods because of new versions. If it wasn't for the bookwork code, I would probably be flying through the questions. For schools, this is a waste of money trying to keep students up writing a question you can work out without using a written method. Writing something in my math book just feels so repetitive and slow. You can't skip a question, meaning I can't skip a few pieces of written methods. In my school, you get a homework detention if the teachers realise you didn't do bookwork at all. Half my exercise book is Sparx Maths bookwork. I'd much rather spend 2 hours on times tables tests rather than being stuck through a long pressurising virtual hellhole that Sparx Maths calls 'Personalised Learning'. The creator must love testing kids patience and making them go nuts. This is proof that homework has a big emotional impact on students. If you are someone who decides what online maths platform students in their school use, don't waste your money on a digital bootcamp run by a very enthusiastic, very unforgiving robot. All you can call it is a time‑draining maths circus that somehow charges admission. If you value even a shred of your sanity, avoid it like it’s actively plotting against you.

Seriously, as someone who is bad at maths, and someone who tries his best to become better, I keep forcing myself to do my best on sparx by writing out everything, doing all the working out, trying multiple times to get questions right, doing the xp and target, but sometimes it just gets painful, the videos are sometimes helpful but mostly useless, there is no motivation or reward for using sparx in itself and when faced with an impossible question that you cannot do? You're stuck, you have no help or support. Ive been purple flagged for a few questions, but flagged multiple times over because i dont have the mental capability to awnser the question, thats something any considerate human can understand, but sparx is just a terribly made programme with no care or consideration for anybodys mental health or mathematical capability, it's just stressful and frustrating. Everybody needing to revise maths should stick to other websites like PMT (physics and maths tutor), Dr Frost maths, cognito and 1st class maths if they want to learn, and for those stuck with sparx as homework such as myself, I feel bad for what you have to go through. Sparx is not helpful, and is not made for students, schools pay for sparx because its meant to be beneficial, when in fact its the opposite. Maybe the people at sparx need to priorities the students instead of payments. Disgraceful

book work checks honestly suck everyone uses chat gpt on their homework so theres no point it just pops up randomly after every 2 questions STOP THE BOOKWORK CHECKS

It gives you too many questions and you have to complete every single one for it to be completed and sometimes the questions are just impossible I'm not even joking.
