Even though i've already made a review about this, but i'm here to talk about the positive reviews and how they're incredibly stupid. (no offense to those who wrote a 4-5 star review) Literally most 5 star reviews are either satire or don't even explain how Sparx is good, all they is just "I'm happy of completing my Sparx homework" type reviews. Basically even though 2% of reviews are 5 stars, but if every review was honest, the total percentage of 5 satr reviews would be 1%>. And about the 4 star reviews, they're less brain numbing than the 5 star ones but i think half of it is ragebait (as i'm writing this there are 2 4 star reviews) one says "Imao i don't get you kids crying just cuz they got some homework and it's easy" btw i was kinda offended but there are 2 things i believe, 1. The person who posted the review was ragbaiting/trolling 2. He never did Sparx and he thought it was easy (not). And for the other 4 star review i didn't actually pay attention to it but i remember the person said they wouldn't use Ai for their homework. Which the person is actually a hipocrite because i saw the person's other reviews about the same website and it was a 1 star. Me personally i think people who wrote positive reviews are just glazing or ragebaiting.

I would rather be ------- alive, awake, and with the person staring me in the eyes than do this medieval torture. Again, I would rather face the ------- of historical victims than do these 200 XP boost questions. ------- this spelling! My heart is pumped with pure rage 😤 every time I get a question wrong. I would rather be -------, repeatedly, over and over, until the sun becomes a red giant than do this --. 5 stars

Also before I start I would like to say that I will not be capitalising sparx because I do not respect it enough to. This app somehow fails all criteria it has set: -it is not tailored to your experience of learning in any way. -the automation dose not help and just makes it harder for teachers to make useful homework and help struggling students. -it dose not use "pedagogical innovations" to make the experience good for students and instead makes it worse. -there is no collaboration telling teachers and parents what to help with and go over. If you would allow me to rant for a second I would like to talk about everything I hate in sparx. sparx does not let you use the main display of the question to answer it and you instead have to go to a separate tab to do it interupting my flow. When you get a question wrong enough times the question will change causing you to have to reset all your working out. If you have used sparx you will probably have been waiting for this bit... bookwork checks bookwork checks are most stupid thing ever used in online homework BECAUSE WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVE TO DO THIS IN THE BOOK IT IS LITTERALY ONLINE HOMEWORK JUST MAKE US PRINT OUT A SHEET AND DO IT THERE THE CONCEPT OF HAVING TO WRITE STUFF DOWN IN THE BOOK WHEN I DONT HAVE THE QUESTION THERE TO HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHAT THESE NUMBERS MEAN AND WHEN IT GETS TO THE POINT OF WRITING IT DOWN JUST MAKE OUR TEACHER PRINT OUT PHYSICAL SHEETS WHY DO YOU PUNISH US AFTER A LONG SCHOOL DAY WHY CANT YOU BE LIKE EDUCAKE OR TTROCKSTARS AT LEAST THEY ACCTUALY HELP ME LEARN. sorry about that but in conclusion I think sparx should aim to be like the websites I talked about and be more fun and engaging. You are actually the goat if you read through all of this thanks for listening to my opinion. I would like to add that I think sparx is one of the only only types of homework where the use of ai is valid.

This app has caused many hours of torture for myself and others. It should be banned. I could leave an informal rant in here , but instead I'm going to leave some constructive feedback in hopes that Sparx takes this in their stead and improves to decrease suffering for future users of the platform. Firstly , the bookwork codes are a pain, presuming that no students solve questions in their head without writing things out on paper. Secondly , they removed games despite them being the singular enjoyable aspect of the site. Additionally , the videos we are given for help are more often completely unrelated then not. Sparx should create a wider range of videos for subjects , making them clearly based on the question rather than having only a weak link to what you're working on. Finally , you have to solve all the questions to complete the homework which could be incredibly taxing for those who struggle with maths as they have to complete all of it to avoid detention in some schools. Some students even resort to looking up questions they don't know on the Internet in order to complete their homework, and this clearly does not promote positive learning. I think this learning platform should undergo some serious changes in order to improve for the sake of future users and current users alike. - A Long-Suffering Student.

It is annoying

Horrendous should be band in every school. You get a question wrong and it just expects you to guess. I have had to use chat gbt for ,surely, just simple maths.

bro this is the worst platform ever. it makes every kid stressed because to complete it you need to get every question right and theres this boring video thats supposed to "help" you get the answer correct but tbh it never works and if you are in year 6 rn and you are going to secondary this september be prepared for this torture. also theres smth called book work checks where you have to physically right down you answer for each question and every so often during ur homeowkr you will get a bookwork check to see if you wrote it down. its so confusing so a few months back i quit using it and they are doing this for year 7s too because im a year 7. for year 6s who are getting prepared you should do your sparx maths on pc or laptop then that way you can use the sparx solver extension which does your book work for you and if you try to do the actual book work and try work it out yourself ur cooked its gonna take like 1 hr and 30 mins and no one wants that so js use ai idc

Sparx maths is absolutely rubbish the videos that it produces do not help you what so ever and the questions that it provides have completely nothing to do with what you have recently been learning. Sparxs maths also DO NOT let you class your work as complete until you have got ALL OF THE ANSWERS correct. Sparx maths is utility USELESS 😡. I would NOT recommend.
