The problem with spare maths is how repetitive and boring it is the other really absolutely ridiculous thing about is the fact you can’t make mistakes on a question and move on and complete the homework no you need to get 100 percent don’t even get me started on the book work checks it’s literally the worst thing to come to man expect the nuclear bomb I’ve been doing this for four years and not a single thing do I owe to this website except my suffering and wishing that who ever made this app should have a word with a British school not the teachers the god damn student crick that maker

it forces you to spend 6 hours doing 2 minutes of work and is incredibly frustrating even tho i just started it

1/5 - Sparx Maths is torture disguised as homework Sparx Maths has to be the worst maths platform ever made. It takes a simple 5-minute homework and turns it into a 2-hour nightmare. The questions are fine, but the way it marks you is awful. You can understand the method perfectly, get one tiny rounding error or type $2 \times 3$ instead of $3 \times 2$, and it marks the whole thing wrong. Then it makes you watch a 10-minute video that explains nothing you didn't already know, just to try again. And don't get me started on "bookwork checks". Why do I need to prove I wrote it on paper like I'm in primary school? I'm doing the maths, that's what should matter. It says it's supposed to help you learn, but all it actually does is destroy any motivation to do maths. You spend more time fighting the website than actually doing maths. Every task feels 10 times longer than it needs to be because of the compulsory videos, the SRP grind, and the way it locks you out of the next question. If teachers want us to like maths, Sparx is literally the worst way to do it.

One of the worst maths learning methods in existence. Guide videos provide no help and are vague, it will repeatedly ask the same question until it's right with no support, learned nothing and wish it would cease to exist as a website

I have done 4 questions in an over an hour. I have 36 questions to do. That will take me at least 12 hours. Google Gemini can not figure it out. Neither can Chat GPT or Gauth math. I am about to take the hypotenuse hell to avoid doing this any further.
