I was gifted a knockoff brand mason jar sealer and could not get the jars to seal. After numerous failures, I gave up and ordered a Mason Genie. I haven’t had one episode of a lid not being sealed. Pantry and fridge items stay fresh much longer than before and that means less waste and expense for me.

I purchased a Mason Genie earlier this year (2026), and it was perfect for vacuum packing dry food in jars; however, a few weeks ago, the 'Genie' would turn on but made no sound, and was not sealing the jars. I contacted customer support, and they were so helpful. I sent a video showing the issue, and within a few days a new 'Genie' was on its way to me. I love the product, and the support team is great.

I love my mason genie and use it regularly. I use it to keep pantry items like oats, crackers, granola from going stale. I also use it to keep spinach fresh in the fridge for a longer time.
