Mary Kay is a greedy company. It isnt enough that they frontload people with products that DO NOT sell. they discontinue and introduce products every few months making so many have products that are no longer in the catalogs. They go after people trying to recoup SOME of their investment (look up touch of pink and their lawsuit regarding the book). they will go after people that arent even in violation of trademark infringement but their attorneys will tell you in so many words " we have billions and will bankrupt you"
the absolute worst company I have ever seen.

Scam
Was fraudulently signed up as a consultant over a year ago. Ive called repeatedly and spoken to multiple customer service representatives who agree that I never signed up, however Mary Kay sends me a bill for $20.00 every month. They have assured me this is in error and to disregard. Its now been over a year and 3 months and I'm still receiving the invoice for $20.00 each month. Impossible to get any one on the phone now so I guess they are hoping Ill get so aggravated Ill pay the bill just to get them to stop.

Horrible company to work for! Be WARNED girls! Dont join them.
I spent a lot of time thinking about my experience before deciding to write this review. I also researched the experiences of many current and former Mary Kay consultants to better understand the company before making my final decision.
From my own experience, I felt some pressure during the process, which prompted me to look into the company further. During my research, I found many former consultants describing similar concerns. While I understand that not everyone’s experience is the same, I noticed repeated accounts of people feeling pressured to purchase inventory they could not afford, encouraged to open high-interest credit cards or take out loans, and told that the financial risk would be minimal when their experiences turned out to be much more costly.
Another common concern was the strong emphasis on recruiting new consultants. Many former sellers felt that recruiting and building a team were prioritized over selling products. I also read multiple accounts from people who felt that incentives, gifts, and prizes were used to encourage them to continue purchasing inventory or recruiting others.
One former consultant shared that after struggling to recruit people who were willing to buy inventory, she was told she was not working hard enough and was made to feel that she would fail if she did not fully commit to the business. She also felt that her concerns were dismissed when she brought them to her leader. Although this is one person’s account, I found it concerning that similar stories appeared repeatedly throughout my research.
I recognize that individual consultants may genuinely care about the people they recruit, and I don’t believe every representative has the same approach. However, based on my own experience, combined with the consistent concerns I found during my research, I do not feel comfortable supporting or representing this company. For that reason, I cannot recommend this opportunity to others.

Don't fall for the Mary Kay enterprise
Don't fall for the Mary Kay enterprise. I was a consultant for almost 2 years, some of the products are good but when confronted with the questions as to whats healthier the Mar Kay cosmetics have many ingredients in them that are banned in Japan and New Zeland for causing cancer and other harmful effects like skin irritation. When I tried to stop selling the products because my heart could not con people into using products that even made my own skin break out they Terminated my contract and made it to where I was stuck with over $2000 whole sale of inventory that I either used to give away as gifts or compleatly gave to a non charitable program. At least this way I can still use some as a tax write off, when explaining to my director that most of the product's were not selling not only would she not buy them back from me but she kept pushing me to buy more of what does sell, I finally had to tell them that it was Blasphemous that they were using God to sell cosmetics, I cant even get most people to buy what I paid as a whole sale buyer to make my money back. You can find better products in stores such as Sally's, Ulta even Target and Walmart, Cerve, Olay and Clinica are just a few of the much better products with similar or lower costs then Mary Kay. Please Beware of this Company. The customer service i recieved after wanting to send my products back was none to very passive and dismissive will never promote nor use these products as long as I live due to the neglect and out right Blasphemy they sell to the world.
