Results of laying wood floors down
We were happy with the laying of the wood floor after they came back to fix the entrance to the room. We were mislead that they could take the old trim board off and replace with no problem. The end result was not so great and we bought new finished trim boards and looking for another carpenter to install the boards. The final day of the project, there was a very quick exit, with no communication of what we thought of the work. They ended up leaving a door off and some tools behind. Make sure you protect your floors for traffic through the house. They made no effort inside the house to cover the carpet up the stairs and offer no other covering besides your throw rugs over wood floors or ceramic tile.
