Negative reviews, sometimes for businesses that engage in illegal conduct, are removed regularly. And no, I'm not revealing personal information or curse. There is no other reason to remove my reviews than to protect shady or bad businesses.

Es geht alles schief es navigiert so bescheuert

I left a negative but honest review of a local organisation which was removed as 'Fake Engagement' to 'skew people's opinions negatively against it.' I did no such thing. I just told the truth. Overwhelmingly, my reviews are positive - 3 stars and over. Mostly 4 and 5 stars. I then found myself placed on the naughty step whereby all future reviews had to go through a Pending process, so I have stopped adding reviews to Google Maps.

Always takes you down prohibited routes and i have to end up paying many fines

I put a review on an eSIM company which it was lied to customer. Got it removed by google wondered how reliable it is nowadays with google review.

It is astounding that a multi billion dollar company has had over a decade to work out the kinks in their app and they’re still just as flawed as ever. If you zoom out to get a better idea of where you’re going, it will, for example show a building on the opposite side of the street than what is actually on. It takes you on very ineffective circuitous routes. God help you if you’re in a roundabout with more than four spokes because it will always tell you to turn on the wrong one. The app designers have no regard for your safety and will routinely take you on forest roads or roads made for jeeps only without any alert coming up. I could go on with another 20 to 25 flaws in their design, programming, etc.
