I purchased a Mango Power M, 15Kw battery system back in March '24. It took until August '24 to get an installer here in Wisconsin. After installation, I found that my AC -powered PV (Solar panels) that was already installed years ago did not operate properly with this Power M system. I experienced issues with the software, both the iphone and wifi panel do not treat the PV as Solar but as a generator. All settings for timed charge, discharge using PV do not work. It seems the way Mango treats an AC power PV is NOT the same as a DC powered PV. Mango support (David) only sends me screenshots of the iphone app and after many repeated requests to talk to someone on my findings and issues, i am getting the cold shoulder from Sales (Jennice) and architecture (Christopher). Now I must resort to complaints which I am reluctant to do as I am willing to work with Mango for a resolution but I am the only one at the table. I do NOT RECOMMEND using the Power M system if you have an AC Powered (micro-inverters) Solar PV System. Tech support cannot help you it seems so you are on your own. UPDATE 12/29/2024: It took months and a few tries from support to get my Inverter firmware patched, but now it does charge and discharge mostly as expected. As for the AC powered PV, you still only see it as a generator with no real PV data, hopefully this will get fixed in the future. Changing my rating to reflect support given.

I got off to a little bit of a rough start with support as I felt communications were repetitive and ETAs were not given so I had no idea when I should expect a reply. The process moved along quicker when the distributor I purchased from (LDS Prepper) got involved. The issue was ultimately resolved and a replacement for the defective unit sent in a timely fashion.

There were 2 sets of install configurations, I (we) didn't realize the set explaining the connect in parallel then series was the correct one. Not the connect all in series didn't work. And the pictorial diagram I feel didn't explain the setup accurately, what looked like 2 'Y' connectors looked like a center hub with wires and plugs to connect the cables in series. Should of had the pictures of the 'Y' connectors in place of the drawing. Now correctly connected, we're only getting almost 550 Watts of input power, are we supposed to be getting a higher input? we haven't built the 2x4 stands yet, could that also be a factor in why we aren't reaching peak wattage? the solar panels do 'dip' a little, so they need the 'backbone' support to lay flat for optimal photo voltaic reception.

This is a mature home backup package that can be connected to the household circuit, apparently serving as an alternative to the Bluetti EP500 and EcoFlow Delta Pro. I'm slowly falling in love with it.

The charging speed is very fast! And it also has output port dust cover design, which is very good!

I was delighted that it includes wheels and a luggage-type extending handle, as the unit weighs in at 100 lbs (45.5kg). It’s a beast to move around, and although it is portable, you won’t be tossing it around like carry-on luggage, or at least not with my back. The weight is low to the ground, so moving around on a solid surface is relatively easy.
