Yes. They were done perfectly. I just placed two more orders today. The pants were done exactly as per measurements and the materials were very soft and high quality. I already washed both pairs 4-5 times since we received the order and they have kept their size and shape. Thanks

I am updating my review. I gave a negative review a few days ago about my jeans, and am now reversing my opinion. Since then, I have washed them several times, worn them a lot, added a belt, and they are really quite nice jeans. They are extremely well made, well stitched, and I have no doubt will stand up to extensive use and multiple washings. I had previously complained that they were far too loose, but after I sat in them I noticed that I wouldn’t be able to sit in them if the tailor who made them hadn’t left that much room (I got the non-stretchy jeans). In addition, I am constantly having problems finding jeans with legs that are the right length for me. These ones are perfect, with a nice boot cut. And there is the added benefit of not having to go in a store and try on two dozen different pairs of jeans, of myriad sizes, styles and brands, just to find “one that will do”. These are fantastic jeans, and I give Make Your Own Jeans a big thumbs up, because it can’t be an easy thing to do, to make tailor-made jeans for a person when that person isn’t even there.

I was extremely happy with both the product and customer service. I made a mistake with the measurements on my order and contacted them the next day when I realised my error, and they promptly corrected it. The fit and quality of the jeans is excellent. I've seen some poor reviews online, but all I can say is make sure your double and triple check your measurements, since they are going to make them exactly to your specifications, so the onus is on the customer to get the measurements right. The pricing was very good, less than what I'd pay locally for plus-sized off-the-rack jeans, which never fit right. The shipping rates in NZ were only US$16, which was perfectly reasonable, and were delivered in under 3 weeks. I'll definitely be ordering from them in the future.

Ordering jeans / pants from India, sight unseen. What can go wrong? Well, surprisingly little, in my experience. I ordered a stretch chino by inputting measurements from pants I owned that fit me well. The jeans arrived to California 14 days after I placed my order. That's fast for a custom-made garment. The quality was very impressive and measurements spot on. The pants reminded me of an upscale Italian brand like Jacob Cohen. Considering these cost $55 instead of $250+, that completely blew away my expectations. The pants did turn out a little tight in the butt / crotch area, due to my measurements (their tailors' execution was spot-on, I checked). So it really does come down to measuring well and perhaps tweaking your second and third pair. Their customer service is cordial, but don't expect white-glove Savile Row treatment. I'm fine with that at this price point. I would recommend this store for anyone looking to dabble in custom clothing on a budget. For the price of discount Levi's, you can get some really cool stuff. They are reliable, fast and know their craft.
