Had them out for what was supposed to be a quick quote in which turned into a extended amount of time given me a sales pitch with continuous coming down on price when I said I’d have to have time to think about it and then said I may have heard about an promotion and called his manager and came down again. It was a high pressure sales experience that I didn’t want. I just wanted the bottom line and could not get it till the very end Then he seemed upset when he didn’t get the sale. Then when made city called to follow up with me today and I told them about my experience and I didn’t buy basically because he said I needed to commit today to get the lower price and the high pressure sales experience the guy didn’t seem to listen or care what I said.

We asked for a consultation. The customer service person gave me a time and it was confirmed same day via text. The day came and no one showed up. I had gotten a second confirmation the day before the appointment. I called to ask where the rep was and they told me they don't do appointments at that time and there was a note in our file that said to call and reschedule (never got one). We had taken the morning off work for this and the service rep did not seem all that bothered. Told them we wouldn't reschedule and would go with another company. Again the service rep was not at all bothered by the fact they were losing business.

We had our tub converted to a shower June3-6 of this year. We choose Mad City after looking at four other companies. The salesman Jerry was very forward and talked up the company as most do. He went over the colors and grab bars, and SEAT that we were looking for and main reason we were doing this. We were assured that it would be done and signed up. Once the installment day arrived, the installer informed us that the seat was not going to be in the center back wall but in the back corner. His boss arrived at our home and said that it "was a simple fix and he will take care of it". Come to find out the next day, that he discussed it with his boss and said, "the seat was not in the contract". This was one of the major reasons for the remodel! My husband is disabled and cannot stand. He even saw him when he was there. He also mentioned that our conversation was recorded with the salesman (which was a lie cause if it was, they would have heard us talk about the seat!) and it was never discussed. Then continues to tell us that getting a lawyer involved would just be wasting money as it would be constantly in continuance. This company does not stand by their word! They blame the financing company and state " their hands are tied". The only reason I will give a star is for the installer Jarod who was fantastic! He arrived on time, kept us informed and cleaned both areas inside and outside when he was done. He took away the old tub and debris. Great job Jarod!

Very disappointed with the entire experience. Communication was inconsistent from the start, and getting clear answers felt impossible. The sales pitch sounded great, but once the contract was signed, everything changed. Delays kept happening with little explanation, and the customer service team didn’t seem interested in resolving concerns. The installation itself felt rushed, and the final result did not meet the quality I expected for the price paid. I also didn’t appreciate the pressure tactics during the quote process. Overall, this was far more stressful than it should have been. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

I had bad experience with your Production Manager, Salesman and installer. They did not listen to my requirements of kitchen sink size. The size I required was 15 inch wide, 17 inch long and 9 inch deep. The sink installed by your installer is 14 inch wide, 16 inch long and 9 inch deep. Also the installer used a transparent adhesive to join cabinet top parts and install cabinet top. After passing 6 days the adhesive has not dried and is sticking when touched. Your Production Manager did not listen to my complaints and kept on yelling and turning the phone off. Mad City service is disgusting. I will not recommend it to anyone. Javed

Our kitchen was “finished “ in march but 3 doors were wrong and the finishing edges were missing. I have called and complained to Tim in the Scranton office so many times. 2 months ago he was sending someone out to complete the job, but no one showed and he has ignored my numerous calls and my husband’s. Terrible operation they have!!! Don’t use them!!

I called the number for Hurd window replacements and got connected with mad city. They called. We set up an appointment and they did not show up. They tried calling over the weekend to confirm the appointment. I tried twice to reach them but the call went into the hold void so I never got through. I was ready for the appointment but they never showed. When I finally got ahold of them they said since I did not confirm the appointment when they called, they cancelled it. 1. I was never told they would have to call to confirm before coming out on the initial call. 2. That was never communicated in the voicemail that was left. 3. They called me and set up the appointment, not the reverse. 4. They call from spoof numbers and none of them say mad city windows. I don't answer calls I don't know. I told them not to call back as l will not be doing business with them. If this is how they treat their customers before meeting with them, just imagine how their customer service will be if there are any issues with the windows or instillation..... They are so big they do not care about the customer and their satisifaction. I want someone I can trust. I am going local now..... for certain...........

I scheduled an appointment with this company for some kitchen cabinet estimates and confirmed the appointment date and time twice. I work full time and rearranged my schedule to meet them. Twenty minutes after scheduled time I checked my voicemail and email- nothing. I called them and was told they tried calling me an hour before the appointment to reschedule. I asked why they didn’t leave a message or an email -I was told “maybe the call didn’t go through”. I couldn’t believe it. I had a busy work schedule today and had to rearrange to be home for the appointment. Very unprofessional-i will not reschedule. With this work ethic it’s probably a good thing I found out before hiring them.
