My son’s fiancé chose my dress for their wedding and it was perfect and beautiful. I ordered through Madame Bridal but what I received was nothing like what was advertised through their site and the Jovani site. The dress was returned mid March and sixty days later I have yet to receive a refund. Management are unreachable by text, email or phone. Do not use Madame Bridal for any important event. There are plenty of reputable bridal wear vendors. THEY WILL RUIN A LIFE EVENT THAT SHOULD BE WONDERFUL AND BEAUTIFUL. HORRIBLE RETAILERS. JOVANI TAKE NOTICE. I WAS NOTIFIED JOVANI HAS GIVEN THS AUTHORIZATION. I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND ABOUT THE TIME IT TAKES AS I ALSO OWN A BOUTIQUE. THE ISSUE, AS YOU CAN SEE FROM OTHERS, IS YOUR LACK OF COMMUNICATION.

Dealing with Madame Bridal has been horrible! I ordered a $600 dress and cancelled it the same day. They would not return emails, voice messages or text messages. Beware! They would not refund my money until my bank got involved.

I ordered a pantsuit while I was in Florida on 1/27/22. I had an event on 1/19/2023. I returned home on 1/12/23. The pantsuit did not fit. I requested a return on 1/14 via email. The return was denied. I called and spoke to Simon. He said he was on my side and through no fault of the company Mac Duggal would not receive returns after 3 days. I advised that I returned a Mac Duggal from Nordstrom. He stated that Mac Duggal treats Department stores differently than bridal shops. He said he would check with the company and call me back. He has not bothered to call me back. I told him he should be as bold in his notice of return policy at the time of ordering as they are when they deny via email.

I purchased a $850 gown in Nov as a Christmas gift. It was a huge surprise for my daughter. I ordered in November to ensure delivery for Christmas. When she opened on Christmas we saw there were some flaws which cause a slight bump) in the dress and the tag was stuck in the zipper.They refuse to help me. I dont understand why they wont send it back to the designer, Sherri Hill, is beyond me. I am not asking for my $ back, I want them to exchange it, but they are sticking to their 5 day return policy. Buyer Beware, they are totally unreasonable, and refuses to call me! User's recommendation: Do not purchase,. Update - we are accused of wearing this dress during the holidays, How dare you accuse us of wearing the dress. This dress was a Christmas present- ordered early so it would get here in time for Christmas. This us her PROM dress it was opened on Christmas as a present. ( who would wear this butterfly (Spring/Summer dress to a Christmas party, again it was never worn) The dress had the flaws when it arrived. You can clearly see the construction errors. The sewing is crooked - the lines are not spaced evenly and I made this very clear to Dan. Their response below is a bold face lie. I never asked for my money back, I a asked for it to be exchanged or fixed. The company refuses to speak to me. I explained this was an unusual situation due to the fact the dress was a Christmas gift, I ordered Nov 14 received it on the Nov 21. Here is the company’s shipping info: “Note: all in stock dresses will not necessarily ship from our warehouse, some in stock dresses will ship directly from the manufacturer's warehouse as a "Special Order" and the delivery may take longer than 10 business days.” So as you can see I had to order early as there was no way of timing the order to guarantee delivery within 5 days of Christmas and returning it if there was a problem. This is a reasonable explanation, and again, unusual circumstance. For the company to respond with a lie is disgusting.

On 10/4/22, I purchased a $400 dress and it came to me damaged. It arrived, I opened the box, and discovered it is damaged. Hole in it, missing rhinestones, detailing actively peeling up and coming off. I sent 2 eamils, 2 text messages, leftb a phone message, and inbox messaged on social media. They are ignoring me, not responding at all, and have not gotten back to me in iover a week.

I recently purchased a size 6 Mac Duggal sequined jumpsuit from Madame Bridal using the Mac Duggal size guide. The day I received it I contacted Madame Bridal to arrange for a size exchange to an 8. Madame Bridal was difficult to reach and when they finally did email me back, their reply was disrespectful and arrogant: They refused to exchange or refund the Mac Duggal jumpsuit and this was their response: “We always encourage our customers to order their actual size rather than a size or 2 smaller in the hopes that by the time they wear the garment they will fit in it. We will take up your case with the designer Mac Duggal.” So, I posted a one-star review for Madame Bridal on Trust Pilot, Facebook, Yelp, Google Reviews, Trip Advisor, the Better Business Bureau, and Site Jabber. I received a text on my cell phone and this email from Madame Bridal: “Hi Jill, my name is Simon. I am the owner of Madame Bridal. I do want to start by saying that our response to your concerns was wholly inappropriate. Therefore this is what I am proposing. Please return the jumpsuit back to our store. I already refunded your account. I further would like to do the following. I would like to send you the size that you are looking for at no cost to you. I owe you another explanation... We just follow Mac Duggals policy. In other words we pay for these dresses just like to pay us. And Mac duggal has no refund policy for individual stores. In some intetances you can order directly from Mac duggal. In those types of situations Mac Duggal offers a full refund. What happens now is we will take your jumpt suit back and put it in our inventory in hopes of selling it one day. For all this we ask that if this offer is acceptable to you, please change your comments and your one star review on both sites. To sum everything up. Your account is fully refunded You can return the jumpsuit to the address above Tell me what size you will be needing as our gift Change your review to a better one I am copying the person in charge of our social media so he would make sure everything I promissed is done for you. Best Regards,” So, in summary, Madame Bridal gave me terrible customer service and accused me of being delusional about my dress size. Then Madame Bridal saw my reviews: They refunded me and then offered to bribe me with another jumpsuit for free IF I WOULD CHANGE MY NEGATIVE REVIEWS. They asked me to lie to you so they could continue to provide shoddy service to the public. Look at the reviews for yourself. So many people have had the same issue with the company! I hope this helps. And NO MADAME BRIDAL I WILL NOT CHANGE MY REVIEWS AND YOU CAN KEEP YOUR JUMPSUIT **I returned the jumpsuit to Madame Bridal insured and with a signature required on 09/19/2022

Not recommended to anyone. Do not order from Madame Bridal website so unprofessional. Shipping is too late. I order a dress from the madame bridal website on May 14 and till June 19 I didn't receive it. That dress was important since it was for my sister's wedding. Till now there is no support from customer support and still, I checked and come to know that my post sends back to the US from Germany. So I am waiting till now if it will arrive at their hand so that they can ship it again to US address. Though I do not need anymore the dress it is too late and they didn't accept the refund!!!! The dress is from the Jovanni brand.

Costumer service is so bad! Take them forever to reply emails and most of them they just ignore your email. Won’t do business with them ever again.
