It was a good experience. And I did like the whole ‘remote host’ thing. However, it was kind of difficult to know when the date was up unless you were staring at your phone, which was the whole reason I decided to try speed dating was so that I wasn’t looking at my phone. I wish the micro dates were a little longer, but I guess that’s why it’s called speed dating. Overall good experience and I had fun. Will try it again

The speed dating event was fun, seamless, and I met some good people. Excellent communication, especially from a no-host event. The only thing I’d change is finding a venue with a separate, contained space. Being in a small, crowded bar was a little challenging. But it still worked well enough.

Reviewing the speed dating: They really tried to make it a good experience with the friendly live person assisting remotely and finding people based on their self description. And the time between people to write notes. But there wasn't enough time to write the notes (only like 1 minute). You can go back to all your notes though. Since there wasn't an in-person host, it was hard to end conversations when you're supposed to and people would still be talking to their previous person when it was your turn. They sent the matches the next day and let you know which compliments you got from people.
