They are a scam dating company!
They are a scam dating company in Oregon. Only the host "Joe" has access to matches and it's at his discretion whether you will get a match or not. They wanna make money so they'll say you didn't match with anyone so you keep attending their events. They are a shady business with no transparency! We aren't allowed to ask/ share our personal info with dates so they have full control. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Even if you match the host “Joe” will message this: Unfortunately, you did not have any matches. Don't let it discourage you, it's about finding the right one, not just anyone. Each conversation is a step toward understanding yourself and what you seek in a partner. Stay optimistic, and we'll see you at the next one!
Response from Luvvly DatingNov 27, 2024
I’m Joe, one of the founders of Luvvly, and I want to personally address your concerns. First, I’m genuinely sorry to hear you felt this way about your experience. To clarify: while we do oversee the matching process to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely, we never manipulate, edit, or prevent anyone from matching. Matches are based entirely on mutual interest—if two people express interest in each other on their match form, they'll be matched and if there isn't mutual interest they are not, period. To avoid any human error, we’ve thoroughly tested and automated our matching system to ensure 100% accuracy. The rule about not sharing personal info during events is designed with everyone’s safety and comfort in mind. It’s part of what makes the experience low-pressure, especially when meeting new people for the first time. If you’d like to chat more about your experience and anything we can do better, I’d be happy to hear from you and see how we can make things right. You can reach out at [email protected]. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts—it helps us improve, and I truly appreciate it. Kindly, Joe
