Ordered a decal and was charged. I received no correspondence email confirming my order and it has not shown up. I emailed them and have not received a response. I ordered the same decal off of Etsy and got an order confirmation within a minute! Someone really should investigate Luthierdecals. As many people that are reporting never having received their goods, there is a lawsuit in there somewhere. At the very least, the site could be listed as a scam.
JANUARY 31 2022 FOLLOW UP.
A week ago, I suddenly had suspicious activity on my debit card of which I am in possession. Someone tried to buy food in a specialty super market in freaking Germany! Fortunately, Chase Bank contacted me immediately. I don't know if it was the result of my transaction with Luthier Decals for sure but the timing was oddly suspect. After the bank closed my card, within a few days I received the merch I had ordered. No communication to me about my email or anything.
I won't be giving this person another shot. At the very least, COMMUNICATE!

Safer playing slot machines. Very disappointed.
Although I have purchased from this person many times, without issue, my last experience has undone whatever good will there may have been.
In a nutshell, I purchased an Esquire waterslide set from them aound 09/20/21. Typically, the items arrive within a few days. After 10 days, or so, I sent an email indicating I had not received them, pointing out the usual turnaround time. No response. Fast forward to today, 40 days and 4 emails later, with not a single response and.... you guessed it: I am fed up.
They have demonstrated they are both unreliable and unresponsive. Having politely contacted them through my receipt email and directly, through their Contact form, I have yet to hear anything. More importantly, I have a project that is being held up, something I have repeatedly emphasized in my emails.
I came across these reviews when I was trying to find a phone number for them, thinking it might provide a solution. Then, I read these reviews and realized I was wasting my time, so I decided to post this review.
At this point, I don't care what the problem is. From a business standpoint, this is inexcusable. I am voting with my wallet. I recommend you do the same. Purchase from them at your own risk. Ideally, not at all.
The list of negative reviews on this site is long. Further, there is a consistent thread in virtually all of them, which tends to lend credence to the sentiments expressed.
The quality of their product is irrelevant, if you never receive it. Their lack of response and follow-through compounds the felony, so to speak. Assuming any of you have customers, you know what a drag it is to try and explain away a delay that's out of your hands. Like I said, I'm done.

After carefully reading the owner's (Tim) published responses, I was struck by a couple of things.
He makes virtually no effort to explain or defend his clearly demonstrated poor service.
Instead, he launches into a baseless tirade about the prevalence of "scammers", or people who are "trying to get something for nothing".
Oddly enough, I once had a career that involved doing statistical analysis for law enforcement agencies. As I recall, the incidence of crimes against guitar decal makers was so low it was statistically insignificant. Virtually nonexistent, in fact.
People who restore or build guitars (generally) don't fit the profile we associate with scammers. To the contrary, they tend to be reasonably well-heeled, take pride in good craftsmanship and genuinely appreciative of businesses that demonstrate a commitment to quality and who treat their customers with integrity.
Being charitable, I'm going figure that Tim just didn't get the memo. Otherwise, I might be offended.

2 weeks to get my Decals but worth it in the end!
Ordered 2 weeks ago and got an email receipt. Asked about shipping time - no response. Went to the website and sent a PM asking about it - no response.
The decals arrived today (actually vinyl stickers/logo) and I have to say I am mightily impressed. Fabulous quality and detail. Probably better than the originals.
Good stuff - lousy customer service as I never got responses to emails or inquiries thru the website so I dinged them 1 star for the anxiety. The product once recieved is worth the wait.

Sent the wrong decal
Sent the wrong decal. When I tried to contact them I got no response. I hope you run your landscaping company better than your logo company. Total scam.

Best decals I've ever gotten off the…
Best decals I've ever gotten off the net.
I ordered these before reading these reviews and was about to write the 40 bucks off as my own fault, as everyone here is saying this is a scam.
I emailed Tim, who was unable to give me a tracking number, further making me think that I had made a mistake.
However.
They arrived from Canada to Australia in about 4 weeks, and they look amazing.
I have installed them and they went on no problems, great quality and came with all the instructions on how to do so.
Will defo be ordering more.

Luthier Decals is a scam! Take your money and you get nothing! Question them? They attack you!
Hey Gang, do yourself a HUGE favor and avoid at all costs Luthier Decals, selling copies of authentic Gibson, Fender, Gretsch, etc. headstock labels.
It’s a total rip-off. They take your money and never deliver your decals. I’m not the only one who they’ve burned. They claim to take photos of your item being shipped. When I asked for the photos of my package being shipped? Tim responded, “I’m not your babysitter!” Huh? When you contact them about your order? They get real nasty too. I ordered my decals almost two months ago, still haven’t received them. They offer no proof to show they actually sent them.
So, when I contacted them this week checking on the status of my order? I got this back.
“You keep venting about shipping..we have nothing to do with shipping and cannot help you with that...you dont get it..its in the mail...its out of our hands
Be careful with your threats. My site ranks #1 in google and the last guy that made a threat about bad reputation...I handed his phone number to 48,000 people to call his phone..he had to change his number so you really need to chill.”
I never “vented about shipping” I have no way of knowing if he ever shipped them. My “threat”? That I was going to call Visa and report my purchase their as having never been received and reversing to transaction to get my money back.

Luthier Decals ships thousands of…
Luthier Decals ships thousands of decals per month for 12 years...we often read the reviews and compare emails from the people that are posting. So may lies so we are really not interested in responding.
Less than .000001 % negative feedback is amazing!
Some of the reviews...buyers claim item did not arrive...seem like a scam to me as mail will either arrive at our office or the customers. There are tons of scammers that buy and claim items did not arrive.
To note...we take photos of all shipements and verify that all items have been sent when customers complain about late mail...however..we have no control over dishonest customers...there are tons and we alway flag mailing addresess with Canada Post and USPS for possible mail theft. Two of the customers that posted negative reviews..we sent the item twice and they claimed that items never arrived twice...thats impossible..however even on ebay they allow 1% as there will always be dishonest people
