About Lumuwala

Lumuwala is a small, women-owned bedding brand built around one stubborn belief: the things you sleep on every night should feel as good as anything else you own. We started Lumuwala because we couldn't find pillows and comforters that were genuinely soft, properly cooling, and didn't cost what a weekend away does — so we made them ourselves. Today we're best known for our Cloud Pillow — a soft, breathable, cooling pillow designed for people who run hot at night. We also make sheets, comforters, and a small lineup of bedding essentials, all chosen because we'd actually want them on our own beds. Behind Lumuwala there are just a handful of us. We pack orders by hand, write our customer support replies ourselves, and answer to every email personally. We grew faster than we planned for over the past few months, and our communication during that stretch wasn't where we wanted it to be. We've apologized to the customers it affected directly, and we've rebuilt the entire side of the business that handles email and shipping updates so it doesn't happen again. Scam of a company - Lumuwala support email no longer exists
Samantha from Lumuwala replied to my review stating to send an email to the support email addy provided so they can look into this further. Although I have previously sent 6 emails in Feb 2026 with only AI generated replies, this email no longer exists. Great work Samantha from Lumuwala. All the reviews are the same experience as mine. They do not send the package and the tracking number you receive belongs to another company and another recipient. So when they advise go to the courier, the courier cannot help you as they never received a package from this company.

Over the past few weeks we have been upgrading our infrastructure, and unfortunately during that transition some incoming emails were not coming through to our team as they should have been, which is why you may not have received the responses you deserved. I completely understand how upsetting and concerning this must have appeared from your side, and I am truly sorry. Not what I was expecting at all
Not what I was expecting at all. At first, I was sure I got scammed. There was no order confirmation and no customer service. About a month later I did receive a pillow, wrapped in plastic with no other labels or anything. The pillow is very small and hard, not like advertised and it's not comfortable. I wish I could get a refund.

Hi Gabrielle, A month with no confirmation, no replies, and then a pillow in a plain plastic bag that's nothing like the one on our site. That's a mess and I'm sorry. The pillow you got is not what we sell. It shouldn't have shipped in that state, and you shouldn't have been left wondering for weeks whether anyone was on the other end. I want to get you a refund. i love my new pillow

Avoid this company
***Update***I received an email and a reply to my review to make things right however when I respond to the emails it bounces back saying that email is invalid (I replied to the email I received, emailed from a different account and still the same result). If this company does make things right and ship me the product I paid for I will update my review accordingly but there’s still something off about this company. I do hope they are trying to do the right thing and this is just a glitch with their email system. Original review They sent my order to the wrong address. They have yet to reship or refund me. Unable to get help from the courier service as I do not know what address they shipped to but it’s not mine. They have a generic auto response to all emails and don’t actually read or respond to customers. They are not a company I would ever suggest using. No way to contact an actual person and they are just a terrible company who will take your money and not deliver

The package went to the wrong address, the courier couldn't help you because the name on it isn't yours, and the replies you got from our side clearly weren't reading what you wrote. None of that is your problem to solve. Email me at [email protected] with the email you ordered under. I'll look at the label we generated versus the address you typed in at checkout and figure out where it went sideways. You can pick a reshipment or a refund, whichever you'd rather. If I could give this Zero stars I…
If I could give this Zero stars I would! This site is a scam. Provided me with a tracking number for a parcel that was not addressed to me or my address. Refused to provide a refund as product had been "delivered" even after I provided them with the evidence from the courier that this was not my parcel.

Hi Amanda, You had courier evidence that the parcel under that tracking number wasn't yours, and you still got told "delivered" and denied the refund. That should never have happened. Once you sent the documentation, the case should've closed in your favor that same day. If you still have the carrier paperwork, forward it to [email protected] and mention this review in the subject line. I'll reopen the case and push the refund through from my end. Hi, Ordered, paid, waited, nothing showed up. I'm sorry. That's a horrible spot to be in, and I don't want to leave you sitting in it. If you can write to [email protected] with the email tied to your order, I'll trace the tracking on our end and figure out whether the parcel was actually scanned out, stuck somewhere, or lost in transit. If it's lost, I'll open the carrier claim from our side so you're not the one chasing them. Either way, you'll walk away with the product or your money back. Hi Rachel, A tracking number that goes nowhere is one of the worst feelings as a buyer. You're left refreshing a page that says nothing, with no way to tell if the order is real or not.
