I inquired about a jacket I was interested in purchasing. Needless to say, I was lied to multiple times, given a false overpriced offer that suddenly came down by like $100 after supposedly speaking to their boss, given an unrealistic overpriced shipping option, was being pressured to purchase what they wanted me to purchase instead of what *I* wanted to purchase, gave me a narcissistic attitude and weird vibes, accused me of "trolling" and wanted to "know who I am". Unreal. I don't recall ever having such a strange and unprofessional customer service experience with a company that looks as legit and as professional as this one. It is as almost as if they hired a child as their customer service representative. This is very telling and a clear indication of their quality if this is how they treat potential customers. They have absolutely no professionalism or respect for people. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. Edit - Now this maniac responded to my review by saying "I am requesting unlicensed merchandise that breaches our contractual obligations". Now he is backtracking and making it seem like he was not going to sell me a leather jacket that was previously for sale on their website because of legal problems when I was the one that was so offput by their disrespectful and nasty demeanor that I didn't even want to purchase it anymore. Not only are they extremely rude but apparently they also sell unlicensed products. Unbelievable. I have not requested anything that wasn't already for sale on their website at some point and was not even aware that they sold unlicensed products until I read the reply to this review but it's good to know that you sell unlicensed merchandise. Even more of a reason not to buy from them. These people conduct extremely shady business practices and clearly have mental problems. I'm not the only one who has similar issues with them apparently so I advise making an informed decision by Googling and reading what other reviewers have stated about this company. Apparently they flag and try to prevent people from submitting truthful bad reviews.

Ordered a t shirt that did not meet the misleading description on their site. It was a simple 10 dollar t shirt they charged 50 dollars for. I was clearly scammed cause when I tried to return it they revealed their awful return policy which charges 60 dollars just to return it. Do not buy anything from here if you it will not be taken back and you will not get your money back scammers! I see they responded with misleading accusations so let me clarify. LUCAJackets.com sent me instructions which I showed to trust pilot to verify. The instructions were to pay LucaJackets.com designs 60 dollars to "return" a brand new shirt I ordered months ago now, the day it arrived. This was more than the shirt cost so they offered to "wave" 30 dollars but I'd be paying a 30 dollars and shipping cost. This was their attempt to "work this out." I cut my losses obviously and will warn anyone and every review site to beware these awful policies and products, So again if you buy anything from here you will not get a refund they are scammers to avoid at all cost.

I purchased a jacket from this company. I wore the jacket ONE time and the inner lining ripped. I spoke to the Owner that has the same name as LUCA Jackets He was very difficult to deal with. He said that this was normal wear and tear. He said it would take $10 to fix. I went to three different tailors in three different cities the lowest quote I could find was $110. EVERY seamstress I went to said the inner lining material was very low quality and they'd have to replace the whole inner liner. I produced three quotations regarding the jacket. The owner with the same name as the company LUCA jackets would have nothing to do with it and said he would reimburse me $30. I even offered to send a jacket back to him at my expense for them to fix. He would have none of that as well. He was rude, and very condescending on the phone. You couldn't pay me to buy another jacket from this company. *UPDATE* Since writing this review LUCA jackets has been trying to get this taken down by trustpilot. If you look at other negative reviews he's trying to do the same. This is a terrible company.

I ordered a custom made jacket from the onlineshop and I got it from Pakistan (I had lots of trouble with customs because of that!)... the funny part is, I explained every detail how I want my jacket. But they ignored the color and they ignored the measurements, I ordered a female jacket and got a mix between male and female. They asked me a few questions and sayed the design can be different, the measurements have to be off by over one inch, leather will stretch a lot blah blah... (I sent them pictures and a list of wrong measurements and I showed them, that is not because of some stretch issues or 1 inch btw they made the waistline 30cm bigger as I ordered also the breast size is much bigger) after that, I answered the Mail from Luca Design, they fully ignored me, I sent them a few mails..nothing... I guess they think it's Europe who care's.... -.- ... I can only warn other's from this shop! after they have your money, they don't like problems... they just care about the next order from somebody else.... now I have to find somebody who can fix this, no help from Luca Design (no repairs, no discount) 300 Eur wasted....THANKS! -.- Edit: after I made this review, they sent me a few mails and they still want to take my review down (it wasn't difficult to find out, because I wrote the same review on their homepage lol).. and yes they know which customer wrote this review, because I got many mails after that, but they still didn't gave me a discount or a new jacket, but I can buy the same jacket again with a discount (nobody would do that a 2nd time..) and they said I should take my review down, otherwise they will no longer communicate with me..SURPRISE!... -.- ...) and nope I don't take it down, why should I. I have proof about the bill, I payed for it, I made pictures and measured it for them... I can't wear beautiful words, I need a jacket but this time I will buy one from Europe. Thanks and don't be annyoing otherwise I put your mails directly into my Spam folder... (BTW this review is just the "short version"... of "What happened..") -_-

UPDATE (2/25/21): I followed the business’ return instructions but they ghosted me after the items were received. I now have no merchandise and I’ve been scammed for $443 dollars. This is a very expensive review, but it’s here to help protect you from getting scammed. UPDATE (1/6/21): This review is now marked "verified" as the business made multiple attempts to have it removed, flagging me as "not a customer". I had to provide Trustpilot receipts, emails, tracking numbers and photographs to support every detail below. Since the business has been unsuccessful in having this review deleted by Trustpilot, they have agreed to take ONLY ONE of these defective items because the second defective item was "sold at a loss" and "final sale" (despite the product page not saying so). Apparently, ANYTHING purchased from this site on sale is NOT RETURNABLE - even if it is defective or damaged, they will not accept responsibility for their actions (poor packing, etc). Regarding the one they will accept, they've asked me for a "tracking number" but not provided a return address. They are attempting to make a case for the credit card dispute that I am "not cooperative". I'm happy to send it back, but I need an address to send it to. Oh, here's the catch: they won't give me the address until this review is deleted. $400 is nothing to me, but it might be to you; therefore, this documented experience may be the one and only honest review of this business on the internet. ****************** Original review (Dec 27) I purchased two jackets from this website during their Black Friday sale. It took a long time to get here. Our order was shipped in two packages. One of the two came a week later than the other. Both were late according to estimates due to the holiday shipping crush. They were badly crushed in shipping because they just put them in plastic bags with no protection. Neither jacket fit. We were very careful with the measurements after reading the horror stories with this business. Despite all of that, the jackets we received had very tight arms. We had no way of knowing this from the website. These only fit people with extremely skinny arms. I contacted them, within the “15 days of receipt” return policy. I was told that I did not qualify for the return/exchange because I ORDERED in November. This means they go off of the day of order and they run down the clock on the return window before they ever send their merchandise. I’m currently working this issue with my credit card company. Please do not order online here. They show beautiful products, but have no integrity.

I purchased a custom jacket from this company in August of 2019. I was promised that I would receive it prior to Christmas. It never came. After that, it was one delay after another and I finally got it after over a year of waiting. At the time of my purchase I requested a specific leather. The jacket I got was not even real leather - it had a leather- like look but was not real leather. In addition, the jacket did not fit. It was incredibly tight on the arms, making it seriously uncomfortable to wear. I debated about whether or not to contact them but I had had such a poor experience with them, their customer service was so terrible and their policies were so inflexible that I didn’t hold out much hope of them doing anything as if there are issues, they blame the client. I took it to a tailor to see if there was anything that could be done and because I did that and the tailor opened a seam to see what the options were that was when she alerted me to the fact that the jacket wasn’t real leather. The company has an inflexible return and refund policy which I came up against when I got in touch, letting them know I was unhappy. They were incredibly rude, condescending and argumentative. They offered to make me a new jacket - at full price - to replace the one they didn’t get right. I now have a jacket that I spent money on and can do nothing with. The whole experience was horrible.

I normally don’t leave reviews unless I feel like it’s necessary. Similar to another reviewer, you have to be absolutely certain that what you order is going to fit you otherwise it will cost you double the price of the actual jacket between shipping fees and restocking fees. I had bought a men’s XS jacket, following the size chart online, and when it came it was too big even though they say “european fit”. Since the company doesn’t issue refunds, I was stuck between buying another jacket in a woman’s size that can potentially not fit properly either, or having a store credit that i’ll never use. So I was damned either way. I had paid $230 for the original jacket and then another $22 to send the original jacket back, all with original tags and never being used. And I still had the $40 dollar restocking fee to pay. At this point they should be paying ME, not the other way around. They eventually issued a store credit for HALF the value of the jacket ($100) as if I would buy from them again. He was also dishonest in providing a different return address than the original one listed on the website, purposely so that I would lose the claim from the bank. If you have the time and energy to go back and forth in case you have a problem, then go ahead and purchase from them. However I would never let a company take advantage of me like this and then leave unscathed. Maybe the owner already has a money tree growing in his backyard but for the majority of us people, we don’t . You buy at your own risk, but as for me, this was the first and the absolute last time I buy from here. The seller can justify his viewpoint all he wants with a reply to this review, but the truth is the truth.

Recently brought my first quilted leather jacket from luca design( a "replication" of bodaskin's signature jacket ). I don't know much about bodaskin because i don't own it. No bias here you see so don't accused me for mentioning other brand. Look it up. I am pretty sure bodaskin is the first who originally create this design. Anyways, my focus is mainly about lucadesign that why I am here. Before purchasing this jacket,  I do notice slight flaws just about every corner by observing the photos noting that they aren't really good quality. However, the reviews said they are good and the price isn't bad so it went for it. I crossed my finger, hoping it would opposite of my anticipation. In my head i have two scerenrios for risking the purchase. Either 1 the cons of me observing them online is what i would anticipate seeing them in person to be (not okay with but if so oh well give them 2 stars) . Or 2 this jacket is better in person, the opposite of my anticipation base on my observation (which i was hoping for and maybe rate it between 3-5 stars). Receive this jacket and it turn out to be a shocker. Not even thinking about scerenrio #3 would be. I would have gave this a 2 stars but it is just terrible. In fact, seeing them in person is much worst than I anticipated. Forget about the hope part. It went further in reverse :0. Thus is 1 star. Bad hardware. Metal are too thin and cheaply made (I kinda knew the hardware wouldn't be good).  Bad quality leather, bad tanning process and finished making them look more synthetic than real leather (worst than i anticipated to be). There is an awful chemial smell to it (ughh that i don't know before). What I never would have guess  before I got them was behind the collar and lapel flipping over (from the back of the metal side) are embedded with plastic ring (what!) and they are crooked!( Something like this that they don't tell you or show you up close of what is really behind them). Craftemanship are not taken seriously, etc......... No care is taken. I have to steam this jacket to get the major wrinkles out. This jacket isn't worth the money. Don't be fooled by this! I have a leather jacket that is a higher end brand that i have to admit doesnt disaapoint me but exceed me. Don't be confused. This isn't bodaskin i am talking about because i don't own it like i said. So i dont know if they are good or not. I got this (anonymous) high end brand leather jacket long time ago. It have no problem that exist like this one at all and it is much better quality in every terms. My advise is to invest a higher end brand because you will get what you paid for. That honest my opinion. The company send threaten text messages using my phone number shortly after I given them a bad review. Generally messaging customer on an email is ok. However, messaging me with my personal phone number without my permission and threatening me is very unprofessional. I guess I am not the only one that have a bad experience only. Be careful. This company bash out people that isnt on their terms. They blocked me and report several times to remove my review. This is very disgraceful. Trying to silent public participation for those who genuinely speak against them.
