LoveÉcru makes handcrafted ceramics and tableware for everyday use — bowls, mugs, plates, vases, serveware and small decor pieces you reach for every morning rather than keep behind glass. The name comes from écru, French for unbleached and raw. That's the idea behind the whole range: visible hand-shaping, uneven glazes, quiet colour, and the small irregularities that come with pieces finished by hand. Peggy Chung started the brand in 2020, after noticing how much a few well-made objects change the feel of a home.Everything we sell is built to be used. Each piece is food-safe and lead-free, and the shapes are chosen for real routines — a breakfast bowl, a coffee cup, a tray for the things by your door.Every order includes free worldwide shipping to 40+ countries and a 14-day money-back guarantee. Orders go out in protective packaging, and if something arrives damaged we'll replace it free. Just send us a photo. We're a small team and we read every message. If you have a question about a piece, need an update on an order, or something arrived not as expected, email [email protected] or message @loveecru on Instagram and we'll come back to you.Reviews here show us where we're getting it right and where we still need to improve. If you've ordered from us, we'd like to hear how it went.

I purchased two latte cups. They are so beautiful. However, I poured some coffee in the cup, and the outside was so hot, I couldn’t begin to hold it with my bare hands. I checked in with the company. No return allowed since I “used” the cup. Plus it had been three days since I received my purchase. I have never run into such poor customer service. So disappointed. I feel scammed honestly.

This particular vendor is overcharging for products. They seem to want to capitalize on what feels “aspirational”, exotic, or out of reach for the average shopper. “Want porcelain pieces from Japan? Here, you can buy this rare and expensive set of dishes for hundreds of dollars now!” For example, the Kaneko Rinka Porcelain pieces. I am an American currently living in Japan and see these and similar pieces often. These products are available in Japan for a fraction of the cost, sometimes at rates equaling $15.00 USD, depending on the piece size. (The cost of Rinka pieces can also vary according to daily Yen-to-USD exchange rates.) But they do not and should not cost $136.00 for a single cup and saucer. The price points offered on LoveÉcru are absurd. Don’t be fooled into overspending on their beautifully posh and curated site. There is another site vendor that offers these and other authentic Japanese pieces at reasonable prices. It’s called NIHON Ichiban - Anything From Japan. You can find the Kaneko Rinka plates there, and they do ship them internationally. They also charge you at the most current daily Yen Rate, which has generally been low in recent years. So that could be to your financial benefit. You do have to pay for shipping, which is a slight pain. But you can get multiple Rinka porcelain pieces and still spend less than it would cost you to pay for one product using LoveÉcru. I did! Good luck, and happy shopping.

Thieves and lying customer service. They shipped my order in two separate parcels which resulted in paying for import taxes and handling charges twice. Customer service assured me they would be handling the cost of one of the parcels but they stopped answering my email 2 months later. Clearly just empty promises until customer forgets. To add on top the mark up is twice compared to what the pottery costs and can be acquired from another company.
