First things first: I absolutely love this ring. It is gorgeous, fits perfectly, and has so much beautiful detail. The alexandrite is a rich purple indoors and changes to a lighter lavender outside. I’ll be honest, though, I got really nervous while I was waiting for it. The website explains that the rings take several weeks because they are handcrafted and made to order, then describes delivery after shipment as taking only a few days within the US. That made me believe most of the wait would be production time followed by domestic shipping. I only learned through the tracking information that my ring was actually being shipped from China. I ordered on August 17, the shipping label was created on September 4, and it arrived on September 16. It arrived within the overall timeframe they advertised, but I wish they had been clearer upfront that a significant part of that timeframe could be international shipping. Once I realized it was coming from China, I started looking more closely into the company and found concerns that some of the designs and product photos were taken from another jeweler. That was what really made me nervous. If that was true and the photos were not showing the ring Loveden actually made, I had no idea whether mine would look anything like what I ordered or whether I would receive a cheap, disappointing knockoff that looked nothing like the pictures. My fear was completely unfounded! The ring is gorgeous, the details are beautiful, and I love it so much! It looks remarkably similar to the nearly $2,000 ring that inspired the design. I understand that some people object to the design being “inspired” by another jeweler’s work, but people buy affordable versions of expensive designer items every day. I cannot afford a $2,000 ring, and I never expected solid gold and diamonds for a little over $200. I wanted a beautiful sterling-silver ring, and that is exactly what I received!!

Because we do not currently have a U.S.-based fulfillment facility, completed pieces are sent there for logistics coordination and international dispatch. This is why your tracking showed the package shipping from China. Our ring came out perfect in every sense of the word and we are extremely grateful to them. My dream ring 💍 my partner proposed to me over the weekend and it was amazing! We shopped for rings together and online photos don’t compare to how beautiful the rings look in person. My only complaint is that prongs on the stones are not fully rounded, instead they are pointed and very sharp causing it to scratch me, I worry as this will be my ring for everyday wear. It’s my engagement ring and I don’t want to worry about scratching myself and others with it.
