They rented a flat in a house with two other flats. The boilers in the flat were not connected so I was left to pay the entire bill. They are uncooperative and refuse to help in the slightest. Do not trust them with your money.

I've been really impressed with Local Lets London and how they have managed my tenancy. Steph in particular has been so helpful.

Requests frequently require repeated follow-ups, different people provide different information, and there appears to be little ownership of ongoing issues. Promised updates often fail to materialise, leaving tenants to chase for progress themselves. The most frustrating aspect is not necessarily the issues themselves, but the lack of coordination, accountability and timely communication. I would not recommend this agency based on my experience.

I have rented through a few agencies before and these have honestly been really good to deal with. Communication has been great throughout, and when I have had a maintenance issue come up, they have sorted it quickly without any hassle. The move in process was easy and straightforward, and everyone I have spoken to has always been friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. Overall it’s been a really positive experience and I would definitely recommend them.

I’m really surprised to see any negative reviews, as me and my housemates have all had an excellent experience! I think tenants are quick to complain and leave negative reviews, however don’t leave positive reviews when they are happy, and things are going well! Our experience: Steph was always quick to respond to messages. With her help and support we felt really comfortable and quickly settled into our new home. We found the app to be an unexpected bonus, it was easy to use straightforward to follow each step. We found the whole team to be very professional and efficient. They were so helpful and nothing was a problem. I recently moved to a new area in London and had hoped to move into another one of their rooms, but unfortunately they didn’t cover the area I was moving to. Overall, we have had a really positive experience and would recommend to anyone looking for a room in London. Definitely 5***** rating!

This has not felt like a professional or well-run service. Communication has been poor, standards have been inconsistent, and the overall handling of matters has created unnecessary stress. I would have expected far better from an agency responsible for managing people’s homes.Traumatised seeing messages on their mighty COHO since they are out of reach by means of phone calls or texts after tenancy starts...

I’ve been really happy with my tenancy at Local Lets. The room was lovely and clean when I arrived, and the onboarding process was really smooth with Steph being available online if I had any questions. There were a few maintenance issues whilst living there, and these were dealt with really quickly by Steph. The boiler did go down once, but again a handyman attended the same day. I would definitely recommend if anyone was considering moving into one of their rooms.
