This is the absolute worst mortgage company to deal with. Do not file a claim for insurance or you will have to jump through hoops with Loancare for weeks on end with lost docs that do not upload, more information needed even though representatives told you if you do this it will be approved. Only to talk to different people and no one on the same page.

If I can give no stars or negative stars I would. Been nothing but a waiting game. Have to wait 24/48 hours to talk to a manager, just can’t transfer to one? The worse company.

These are the words useless scum bags in the business! The DOJ needs to investigate this company for shady practices! They are purposely post dating payments to make you miss your current payments. To charge you a late fee! The customer service reps are disgusting!

I requested a loan assumption approval and was told I would get a call back three days later. I had a potential buyer waiting and the call never came. When I called back later the day I was supposed to receive the callback, I was told that they had to resubmit the request because there wasn't enough information submitted with the first request and I'd have to wait until the following week to receive the approval. Meanwhile I lost my potential buyer because this company is could not provide me the information I requested within the time period they stated they would. INCOMPETENT, UNPROFESSIONAL AND WORTHLESS COMPANY!

If I could give less than one star I would. I made an online deposit through their escrow tab, they don’t give you any type of proof that you made the deposit later they claimed I owed money for escrow, which I had paid online as explained above. But since they give you no type of receipt, I wasn’t able to prove it and at this moment in time. They’re charging me an extra $400 a month to pay the escrow that I already paid; this is one of the most corrupt mortgage companies I’ve ever heard of and with a simple search online proves it with their multiple one star ratings.

I wouldn’t do business with them. We had water damage in January and because we still make a mortgage payment. We had to send the money to them from the insurance company. It’s been difficult to get the money to pay our contractor because they continue to lie and tell us the inspection wasn’t done. We had 6 inspections. It’s a game. We call weekly and haven’t got any help. This is the worse mortgage company to do business with.

Loancare is costing me an ADDITIONAL $1100 along with getting another mortgage payment from me (today was supposed to be the closing date on my house!!) but since this business operates like it's run out of a basement, we now have to pay for a rate lock extension for our Buyers so we don't lose the sale of the house. I said I would escalate things as high as I need to, and I know follow through is something no one at Loancare is familiar with, but they will all get to see what that actually looks like. I already filed an official complaint with the CFPB and am actively exploring any and all other avenues. 0/5 stars. Loancare is a nightmare to deal with and their incompetence forced me to file an official complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) due to their absolute negligence. I had a partial claim that was done for deferred payments during Covid in 2020 and now that I'm trying to sell over 6 years later, turns out they never sent the claim to HUD so the closing company can't get the required payoff statement. Almost 2 weeks of getting the runaround from their under-trained phone call reps saying "they don't send that to HUD" and "the county is supposed to send that to HUD" (spoiler alert, that is NOT their responsibility) to now they seemingly have figured out after almost daily calls that it IS their job to do that, they may have delayed my closing by 4-6+ WEEKS. Which means they can now get even more payments and interest from me, smells like fraud doesn't it? I'll ask a lawyer. Twice they seemingly opened a case and had someone working on this and it looks like each time it got assigned the person went "I don't know how to do this and/or this isn't my job!" and closed it out despite me sending ample explanations/documentation, of course I never got a call or message about it. It's not my problem Loancare didn't do their job nor is it going to be, if I don't get a call back from your Resolution Team like they stated to me on their recorded line, I will escalate this as high as it needs to go.
