The Tencel Gabrielle Midi Dress was a splurging purchase for me and I pondered it for awhile. When I got the dress it fit me well although the breasts were kind of Ill filling. I wore the dress approximately 3-4 times and I went to go out it on and it had a huge hole in the sleeve. The dress was not tight. The dress was not used to go hiking in the woods. I contacted customer support because 120 dollar dress for something that is worn to work to sit at a desk and lasts a few wears is unacceptable. They refused to do anything. Even a coupon. Never again.

Cute items bad smell. Bad customer service
The skirt I purchased smelled of strong mildew. Like it had sat in a wet basement for 20 years. It smelled so strongly it actually made my house start to smell. I had it hanging out in the sun while tried to contact their customer service. The first email response I got back was someone who said, “sorry your x item doesn’t work.” Spoiler alert it wasn’t even my item. Not sure if the email was sent to the wrong customer or they just don’t care. I got a second person after that and after several exchanges back and forth over the next few days, she said I could get a refund or exchange. By this time, my item is sold out of my size. I asked customer service how they exchange if my size is out. The response I got was that they didn’t back order so I have to do the refund. It felt like a very “shrug it off” exchange. Like they have so many issues they can’t keep track and give a half hearted fix. Will I get the refund? TBD. Overall, products cute, like the picture, but awful smell and not great or super reliable customer service.

I bought the Tencel Mia Midi Skirt…
I bought the Tencel Mia Midi Skirt because I wanted to support an ethical small business and avoid fast fashion. Unfortunately, the quality does not match the price. After wearing it only a handful of times and strictly following the hand-wash care instructions, the stitching in the back completely unraveled within 4 months.
When I reached out to customer service with photos, they hid behind their policy, stating that because it was past 30 days and had been worn/washed, they would do absolutely nothing to help. For a brand that charges premium prices under the guise of sustainability, having garments fall apart in under four months is unacceptable. They are just as bad as fast fashion, and I will not be purchasing from them or recommending them again

Cut off and blacklisted??
We’ve been customers for years. Earlier this year I purchased a skirt for my wife as a gift. But there were loose threads and the stitching was poor. However I didn’t presume anything; I sent photos to them asking what they thought.
They decided that it wasn’t acceptable had me send it back to exchange. My wife had worn it half a day, but since they deemed it defective, we sent it back. But they didn’t send me a replacement. They gave a partial refund with no explanation. I emailed them and they said the garment had unremovable pet hair and required professional cleaning to be restocked. But of course they wouldn’t restock and resell a garment that THEY determined was defective, right?
Well. They said they understood but repeatedly denied a full refund. When I finally said to forget the whole thing and ship the garment back to me as-is they then (after many email exchanges) said they would refund the full amount (minus shipping!)
So we still wanted the piece though. It was a gift, so i tried to order it again. My order went through, but within one min, it was canceled. I tried again, and again. My wife tried. Together over a couple months we ordered it over a dozen times. I can’t help but develop the insane idea that they are canceling it because it’s me. I try more times, using different credit cards or payment methods. Canceled every time. Finally, I order it without signing in, using a friend’s address and a credit card not in my name or with my billing address. It works.
So we were blacklisted! I found it hard to believe; this is a legit business right? So I email them and politely ask if this is even possible. They don’t respond. My wife emails them, saying she can’t order and asking if it’s because of my order and the problem we had with customer service. No reply. I send another. No reply.
Really? To try and resell defective items, take my money without giving me a product, and then blacklist me and not even tell me.
*sigh*

Biggest scam ever and some truly shady…
Biggest scam ever and some truly shady things happening here. I submitted 1 return and 1 exchange. The return was $99.20, and I was refunded $41.12. I emailed to inquire why I was refunded the incorrect amount and didn't receive any details about my exchange . I was told "Please take note that items being returned must be in the condition stipulated in our return policy. If the items you sent back are not in the same condition mentioned in our policy, the return will still be processed; however, any exchange request will be cancelled, and a refund will be processed instead, but a 30% cleaning and donation fee will be deducted from each item's refund that is deemed unsellable by our warehouse team.
Sozy's full return policy is available on our website and accepted when starting a return. For easy reference to our policy, click HERE.
The issue was that the following items under order SOZYXXXX were returned in the following condition:
1. Tencel Gabrielle Mini Dress (Graphite / M) - Excessive pet hair in the fabric
2. Linen Ada Dress (Mocha/S) - Excessive pet hair in the fabric
Due to the condition of the items, they can no longer be restocked or put back in inventory, which is the reason why you only received a refund of $41.12."
I asked for photos of the garments to support these claims because I knew this was not true. I further went on to detail, based on the this policy they pointed to my total return should be $135.52 (based on 2 items now being treated as a return, less 30% of each item). I also once again asked for photos of the garments as proof of their claims.
I asked them to clarify why I was only refunded $41 because I could not understand how that amount was determined. At this point, I alerted them the situation was becoming increasingly concerning, and without a clear explanation or resolution, I would need to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
There response was to refund me the full price for the original item ($99.20), which is still less than the refund I was originally entitled based on the policy THEY POINTED TO.
They eventually provided me a full refund, but I don't understand why they couldn't provide me proof of their claims, or why it took my mentioning disputing this with my credit card company (which, I actually had proof to back me up) for any of this to be resolve. SHAME ON YOU!
Not to mention, YOU ALL HAVE A RESALE SITE. So if I didn't say anything, the company would have refunded me $41 and more than likely resold their clothes again on their resale site as "new with tags."
SHAME ON YOU!

Discounted return amount without explanation
I don’t recommend unless you are HIGHLY confident you will not need to return. I tried one piece on and immediately noticed it was too short and put it in a box to ship back. The return policy states that 30% can be deducted for anything that can’t be resold. So a $99 piece that didn’t fit and was on me for less than 2 mins was refunded at $69. No explanation. There is no way the piece couldn’t be resold. I hope they do actually donate it so I can at least feel better that someone in need is getting it. I will never purchase from here again. The quality isn’t high enough for the cost overall. Extremely disappointed.

Color did not match website photos
Color did not match website photos — disappointing customer service
1 star.
I pre-ordered a Sozy skirt in Black Bouquet for $91 based on the photos shown on the website. When I received the skirt, the color did not match the online images. The website photos showed blue/purple tones that were not present in the skirt I received.
I contacted customer service and provided photos as requested. After taking the time to document the issue, I was told they would “share the feedback with the team,” but the only resolution offered was free return shipping and a short extension of the return window.
This was disappointing because this was not a simple “changed my mind” return. The issue was that the product color did not match the website representation. I asked for a small courtesy coupon due to the discrepancy, and they refused.
For a $91 skirt, I expected better accuracy in the listing photos and better customer service when the item did not match what was advertised. I will be returning the skirt. Future buyers should be aware that the colors shown online may not match what arrives.
And here is a shorter, sharper version for Instagram/Facebook:
I pre-ordered a $91 Sozy Black Bouquet skirt, and the color did not match the website photos. The online photos showed blue/purple tones that were not in the skirt I received. I sent photos and explained the discrepancy, but the only resolution offered was free return shipping. No courtesy discount, no coupon, no real accommodation. For a $91 skirt, the product photos should accurately represent the item. Very disappointing.
For BBB, use this version because it sounds more formal:
I purchased/pre-ordered a Sozy skirt in Black Bouquet for $91 based on the product photos shown on the company’s website. When the item arrived, the color did not match the online representation. The website photos showed blue/purple tones, but the skirt I received did not reflect those colors.
I contacted the company and provided photos documenting the discrepancy. The company offered free return shipping and a short extension of the return window, but no other accommodation. I requested a courtesy coupon due to the inaccurate color representation, and the request was denied.
This is not a buyer’s remorse issue. The product received did not reasonably match the website photos that induced the purchase. I am requesting that the company update the product photos/listing and provide an appropriate customer-service resolution for the time, inconvenience, and inaccurate product representation.

I wish no stars
I wish no stars, I ordered several dresses and skirts and an order of 3 dresses and one skirt, one dress was not the one I ordered. I returned it and didn’t try it on. I am trying to return a dress that has no stretch and a skirt that’s too big. I messaged 3 times in a week for a label because it said I could not return. they emailed. That I can’t return because what I returned before was not the right item and the skirt had an odor. Not true. This company is such a scam. Now I got an email I can return if I pay to ship it. I do not trust them so I’ll sell it to consignment. Do not trust this company and look at the low stars. If I had seen this I would never have ordered from them. Scammers I just posted on my fb what this company did to me. Disgusting.
