I've ordered books from Litjoy a few times in the past so I thought it was a safe idea to get a new book from them. First of all the price of shipping as increased a lot, from 8$ to more than 20$ for the just one book. I still got the book as it was for a gift, and surprise! The book arrived damaged. I emailed their support and apparently it's not damaged enough for them to do anything :)). So you pay an expensive book, plus expensive shipping, and if you get your "brand new" book damaged? Well that's on you for trusting the company to deliver a product I guess.

Bought book and they came in damaged, emailed support and they asked i destroy the ones i've been sent in order for them to send a replacement when they are the ones responsible for not packaging them properly. never buying from this trash company again.

Just an update from my precious review. I ordered the “throne of glass bookshelf alley” in August 2024 with the intention of it being a Christmas present for my sister. It’s now May 2025 and still nothing. I reached out and all they said was that it’s “still expected” and that I’m “not eligible for a refund” since you can only request a refund within 48 hours of placing your order. They can take a year to ship, but we only have 2 days to cancel. I will never, ever be ordering from here again.

Same issue as Megan M who left a review. I ordered the Throne of Glass Alley back in August 2024 as a birthday present for myself. Spent £70 on it. Fast forward to october, I receive an update saying it will be around Xmas time I get it. I’m annoyed but alas I say it’ll be an xmas present to myself. Fast forward to today (8 months later) still no product that I paid for when I placed the order (came out of my account) and no idea of when i’ll get it. Pretty sure this is illegal to take a payment for a product and still not have it 8 months later. Looks like it’ll be a birthday gift for this year for myself. Not happy.

Truly horrible service. I bought an item that was advertised as a holiday gift — little did i know, it wouldn’t even ship until March; 3 months after the holidays. Then it finally ships, but is never delivered. LitJoy has completely waived their responsibility for it, says it’s the courier’s issue. No, it’s the issue of the people WHO TOOK MY MONEY FOR THEIR PRODUCT AND NEVER DELIVERED IT. maybe get a more reliable courier in the future.

My daughter ordered from them in the past and although the shipments were always late, they eventually came. Not this last time. She ordered a box almost a year ago and she still doesn’t have the box. She reaches out and is told next month next month after the new year. Then it was spring time. Then it was “unforeseen delay”. This company is disreputable. Do not order from them. You will be kissing your money goodbye.

Ordered months ago for the Nov. TBR. After multiple delays with no complaint, I finally received a package in January. Opened it wrong book. Tried to contact was told I didn't select a choice. ( definitely knew i did select the book)I asked to exchange. I declined after being told I would have to pay for shipping 3 times. Not even worth it. So disappointed after waiting months.

I had signed up for the tobeeread subscription. I had paid for the first book subscription in September for the Novembers box. There was so much delay for the box. There’s little to no updates on the box. I finally received my November box at the in of January of 2025. The extras wasn’t worth the money you paid for the box itself.
