LionStoryReviews of lionstory.com

The idea is very creative and beautiful. The printing quality is excellent. However the reason I’m giving it 3 stars is that an important factor is the durability of the book itself. As the kids are the ones who would be handling these books, strangely, the pages start falling down very quickly! And I am not saying it in the sense of them being ripped out, they literally fall off the only three staples that are used to hold the pages together in the book. I believe the pages should be more reinforced, or they should be hard cardboard, especially that these books are meant to be cherished and held onto until the kids grow up as part of their childhood memories.

Shipping/Delivery took longer time than expected or mentioned on website

Overall i had an amazing experience and my kid loves his customized books. I have two comments to help improve the books : On certain pages, like 5 pages, the text color was not clearly visible due to a dark blue background and blue text. It was very difficult to read. On another page the text was scratched or didn't print properly.

What didn't work well: I had a discount code given by Lionstory which at the time of checkout didn't work. So i ended up paying the full price without the 20% discount. What worked well: I liked the story content and customization option thats why I went with Lionstory. I even got delivery for the book 1 week prior to the estimated delivery date which was great. I wrote back to the team informing about the lack of discount and the team were ver responsive and enough to refund me back the 20% discount directly to my card. Thank you Lionstory team. Appreciate the help and i really liked the book.

Decided to purchase the Father's Day personalized book because there was a 20% deal today and when I went to checkout the 20% off was not given to me

The book was a little lacking. The family appeared in the beginning of the book but there nothing about them in the middle and the end of the book.

The website was very easy to navigate and it was also easy to select the book(s) I wanted and create the characters. Checkout was also easy to follow and complete. The reason I didn't give a 5 star is because there needs to be more diversity in the characters in both the children characters and parent characters. For some of the people I was thinking of gifting a book to, I couldn't find anything to match them and that's a shame. You have a great idea and concept here, but it's 2021 and we need to be more diverse and inclusive in regards to allowing more variety of hair colours, skin tones, eye shapes, hair styles, etc. I think it's extremely important that children see themselves as the character as their name is in it and the books are targeted at this age group.

Expensive for what's in the book. A good price would be nearer to half the normal price.
