We’re sorry your experience left you feeling frustrated, Christine. To clarify, Linkby does not position itself as a publisher - we’re a platform that connects brands with the world's biggest publishers. As is standard in the world of affiliate content, Linkby publishers retain editorial control over final content and format so long as the brief has been followed. Campaign placements vary depending on the publisher and agreed parameters. For example, some publishers that drive the biggest ROAS for our brands are newsletter publishers (like Morning Brew, theSkimm etc), while others only produce on-site content. It's always 100% within your control which of these publishers you opt to work with when you submit your campaign via the platform. It appears there was some confusion about placement type, which we'd be happy to review with you to ensure you work with publishers that align with your strategy. Hi Simon, We appreciate your partnership over the last two years (we must have been doing something right!) and for sharing your honest feedback. While Linkby drives highly valuable visibility to the 5,000+ brands we work with globally - many of whom also see positive ROAS - it isn't a guaranteed conversion engine. Conversion outcomes depend on many different factors outside our control, from how compelling a brief is to whether or not a brand/product resonates with a publisher's audience. What we can and *do* guarantee is what you've outlined yourself, which is high-value content placements on premium publishers. To your point about budget getting "eaten up" in the last few days of a campaign, this is common behavior for publishers who plan out their content amplification in advance; they might publish a piece of content on February 1, for example, but they may not be able to secure amplification on the homepage until there's a slot on February 14. That is just one reason why clicks appear in peaks and troughs, and is totally expected behavior. We'd love to get our working relationship back on track and would be happy to offer you a $250 credit towards your next campaign with us, which we'd give extra TLC to ensure it hits the mark for you. Hi Lisa, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback - we 're happy to hear your Linkby rep was helpful! We most certainly have rigorous safeguards to filter invalid activity but as for conversion, that's not something we - or any other marketing channel - can guarantee, simply because it's determined by a number of external factors we can't control. Many global brands use Linkby because they see strong ROAS off the back of the premium publisher placements we facilitate for them, while others find it works best as part of a broader strategy to drive high-level brand awareness and visibility (especially important in the new world of LLMs). We understand that in your case the results didn’t align with expectations, and we genuinely appreciate you giving the platform a try.

We can definitely understand your frustration, Philip! That's not the experience we want to create for our brands. While our publishers retain editorial control over content, imagery used should of course be an accurate reflection of the brief. In rare instances where a miscommunication occurs, we would address this directly with the publisher to rectify the situation ASAP. If that didn't occur in your case, we'd certainly want to revisit your communication with us to understand what could have been handled differently.
