'LINK' what?!! Just don't do it
Just got an email from this company. I knew I did not have an account and nearly checked the 'delete' or 'unsubscribe' boxes at the bottom. I checked on Trustpilot and saw how many folk were recipients so just checked SPAM on my Yah.. account. Damn. They are getting so clever.

We’re sorry you received that unexpected email—that sounds alarming. Link is a saved‑payment and checkout product that merchants can offer to speed up future purchases—it stores payment and contact details so subsequent checkouts require fewer steps; Link itself doesn’t independently harvest card data or send marketing emails on its own. Because the checkout flow is seamless, some users may not realise an account was created during a merchant purchase. Next steps: If you want to confirm whether an account exists tied to your email, use the "I can't login" option at https://support.link.com/contact/login? so our team can assist with locating any Link account. If you’re concerned about unwanted messages, mark the email as spam and avoid clicking suspicious links; when contacting Support, include the email header or a screenshot so we can examine the message and account flow. If you notice any unauthorized charges, contact your bank to dispute them and consider reporting the merchant via our lookup tool at https://support.stripe.com/questions/unknown-charge-from-stripe. We take concerns about unsolicited contact and data handling seriously and will assist where we can. Thanks for raising this with us.
