Just terrible everything. Theres no transparency and you'll never get ahold of anyone. I guess despite the fact you "preorder" things you can't actually cancel your order. Its a total rip-off. Avoid this company at all costs. Its well into August and I have no idea whats going on with my order. From reviews I've read people go months without knowing anything and their stuff just shows up. I really wanted to play the game but I can't get a refund because of their fine print bologna. Like I said. Avoid. Unless you want to buy something twice. Once for the physical after months of waiting and once to play the thing while you wait....oh yah they tried to get me to change this review. Just change your business practice dude...

Games often take far, far longer than they are advertised to. Customers are never sent "push" notifications about delays, and the dates listed on their site are rarely updated (many items still say Q1 2022 despite it currently being June 2022). Quality control issues are rampant on their collector's editions and reproduction items and go unacknowledged and unaddressed. At best, support will offer a full refund if you return the item (that you've likely waited a year plus for). The CEO and COO are extremely unprofessional online and have publicly lambasted users complaining about their company. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Limited Run Games have the worst customer service of any company I have dealt with. Pre-ordered a game only to find LRG were releasing it globally (Something they had not advertised when the pre-order opened). I sent a request to cancel the pre order and told them I'd be buying it locally which would save me around £14. 7 days go by without a response. So I send another email asking for a response but still nothing. Open a Paypal case and was instantly refunded. Sudenely right after the Paypal refund, LRG start responding asking me to close the Paypal case. Something I can't do as Paypal have obviously already refunded me. I explain this to them and they threaten to put my account on hold if I don't do what they say. I show them a screen shot of the confirmation the case is closed. I'm again told it's open on their end so I need to close it or face having my account put on hold. I have another preorder in with them but if my account is put on hold I'll be opening another Paypal case to get my money back as this is bullying the customer. Currently LRG have a 2.1 star rating on here and nearly every review is about how bad their service is. It's truly terrible and I think I'd rather pay a scalper for a game than actually have to deal with LRG themselves, it's that bad. This is also not the first time I've had issues with them. I had a game dispatched to USPS and didn't update for 2 weeks. I got in touch with them and was told I needed to wait another 30 days before they could do anything. 45 days? Then on the very last day it finally updated to say it had left with their courier. So it was with the local USPS centre fo 45 days before moving apparently. Honestly avoid at all costs.

I ordered 2 items for my kids, i think i ordered them in 2020. It came last week. What an absolute joke and there is nothing special about these items. I believe its an absolute scam. Save your money

Came here to also chime in with my terrible experience with LRG. Ordered the Castlevania Ultimate Edition in May of 2021, was told it was a pre-order and the item would not ship until 4 months after the pre-order window closed. Pre-order window closed in October so I expected it to arrive around then. December came and I never got any updates on my order so I had to send an email to reach out. Never received a response so I sent out another email in February. Someone finally got back to me letting me know that the item was "still in production" and was expected to be finished and shipped by the end of March. It's now May. 1 whole year after I placed the order. It's absolutely astounding to me that a company can just give the most vague responses as to why I haven't received something I paid nearly $200 for over a year ago. No compromise, no coupon for next purchase, no apologies for the extended wait time. I see them constantly promoting new games, also with big collector's packages, which is completely infuriating when I still haven't got the one I paid for over a year ago. Stay away from this company. I wouldn't have such a problem if they had just done a better job keeping me informed on what's going on and how they could remedy the excessively long wait.

Ordered 1 game in July 2021. Did not receive it until the end of April 2022. That’s a 10 month wait time. They never contacted me to tell me there would be a huge delay. When I contacted them and asked why it was taking so long, they just referred me to their production page and said I could see what games were still in production. COVID or no COVID, if they are going to take a year to produce games they should let you know ahead of time. I was prepared to wait 4 months. I was NOT prepared to wait 10 months with no communication. My first and last experience with limited run.

I purchased a game for my husband for Fathers Day in May of 2021. I realized that once I bought it it would not be sent out for 4-5 months and Fathers day was the following month. I then contacted them for a refund and received no answer. I then called my credit card company and told them to help me to contact them to see if they would have better luck in reching out to them. They put in a chargeback with limited run. I only wanted help cancelling my order. It is now March of 2022 and Limited Run did not get back to me never shipped put the game no email stating a delay and no REFUND. I paid almost $200 and still no product or a refund. I contact Limited Run through email and they told me its a serious offense to do a chargeback and my account is blocked and suspended. They wont cancel my order wont give me the $200 and my credit cared company wont help and tells me to reach out to them. I GET NO ANSWER I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!!!!! That is all I want. I will never purchase from them ever again. PLEASE HELP ME FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN. IF I COULD GIVE THEM LESS THAN ONE STAR I WOULD. RIP OFFS

I love the people that are on here defending Limited Run Games like they are their PR department. I’m writing this review because I’ve ordered the Scott Pilgrim Vs The World Collectors Edition, and boy has this been messy. Yes, there are supply chain shortages, yes, we are going through a pandemic. But damn, we are going on month 14 of waiting for this. I’m more annoyed with the quarterly update, they like to invite you to see all the new stuff they have for pre-order, but these extended wait times is kinda ridiculous. You should absolutely offer people discounts for these egregious windows. At this rate it will have been a year and a half by the time I get this.
