I give Limited Run Games 5 stars despite the wait times. The reason for this is because they do not try and hide that it will takes months after pre-orders close. When this is taken into account and I simply look at the products received, I am very pleased. I do understand why some folks have an issue with the wait, but I feel its worth it.

Overall excellent company. Yes sometimes shipping takes longer than they estimate, but that’s why it’s called an estimate. It’s always worth the wait, and their customer support is excellent and responsive in my experience.

Had issues with paying first time around and was worried but it eventually worked. Before it worked I got in touch with customer service, who got back within the day, however this was after I’d already purchased it so I didn’t respond, I thought they’d be that busy they wouldn’t chase it up and it wouldn’t be followed up. To my surprise the customer service rep Katt cared that much about the issues with my order she actually checked in again to make sure it was all okay. I, of course apologised for the lack of a reply, and thanked her for concern. This review is for you Katt, thank you so much for the care and attention you put into solving my issue, and the friendly nature in your messages. 10/10 service thank you so much, cannot wait to get my game!!!!

I have never had anything but the most positive experiences with Limited Run Games. The only time I had the most minor problems with an order (a missing trading card, not a big deal), there customer service department sent out a replacement at no charge immediately. They have been open, helpful and transparent in ALL my orders with them. Highly recommended. Great Service! Great company!

Customer Support A+ I had an issue where I received the wrong package despite my tracking showing it was delivered and they were able to pay for me to ship the games back and sent me the correct games! I will continue to buy from here!

Most of the negative reviews here boil down to the fact that people don't read about their purchase before adding items to their cart. LRG releases games as a pre-order. If you add items "In-Hand" to the same order as a pre-order, then they wait to ship your entire order until after all items are In-Hand. Anyone complaining about buying a game and waiting months to get it are either illiterate or review bombing. LRG is also very open about the fact that they don't own the exclusive rights to any games they publish aside from their first-party titles. Any company can reprint games with another company if they wish. LRG however will only release the games once per console. This rarely affects the value or rarity of LRG releases, as most people distinguish the versions. Think of it like a lesser version of a Greatest Hits press vs a Black Label PS1 game. Most people want the Black Label copy and the price reflects that. People value the GH versions as a separate release and that rarely devalues the BL copy. Especially years after release. These games will appreciate in value after the consoles they are made for are not longer current gen. LRG takes great care to keep stock limited, yet accessible, while providing rough timelines for game releases. If you don't understand LRG or how and why it operates, you can't blame the company. Educate yourself before "wasting" money. I haven't had any issues with address changes or purchased items not being replaced if they were damaged or lost by USPS. Any time I have had an issue, however rare, I contact support and they address the problem within 3-5 days. I've never even been charged shipping to replace a lost or damaged item. Be patient, know what you are buying and realize that release dates are flexible. Be informed, know the publishing rights of every game you buy and research the developer before buying something thinking it will only ever be printed once. Be proactive, if you have an issue with a release, contact support and give them all the details needed. If you get a rep that doesn't give you proper support, create a new ticket and follow up. LRG is a great company, a pioneer of limited print releases, and they truly care about games. If you don't understand what they are about, how they operate, or have little patience, you are in for a bad time.
