Lighting By GregoryReviews of lightingbygregory.com

We are new home owners and needed to purchase a few light fixtures. Lighting by Gregory was recommended to us by a lighting design firm. We were happy to find a pretty rich selection and a very convenient price range. Sales people were great, and so are the fixtures we ended up getting. One fixture was a custom made order we had to wait 4 weeks for. Totally happy we did. It is elegant, slick and made in the US. Bottom line, if you are looking for simple and quick solutions and are willing to spend some extra money (compared to Home Depot etc.)..... this is a great place to go.

I was shopping for lights in May 2014. It was my 3 rd time at the store. Few years ago bought beautiful contemporary celing light for dining room, kitchen and bedroom ( Artemide). This time was for the track monorail lightening. The staff was helpful, knowledgeable and patient. When I needed to change the transformer, one call away plus 24 hours I got the new one delivered free of charge. Excellent customer service. Would do business again

I placed an order and was given a 3-4 week production time. When I sent an email a month after to check the status, they apologized for the "confusion" and gave me an additional 4 week production time. I'm sure somebody dropped the ball and forgot to place the order, because my card was not charged until I sent the follow up email. Once the lamp was made (in California), they didn't send it directly to me. They sent it across the country to New York, then sent it right back to me in California. I sent an email once again asking why it wasn't sent to me directly and I never got a response. I had to call and speak to someone directly. The operator blamed the manufacturing company and stated they sent it to LBG accidentally. I had read bad reviews about LBG's customer service, but I like to come to my own conclusions. Keep your 10% of coupon for writing a review. I will not be purchasing from this company ever again.

Gregory's is the first stop when I need a light or a fan, and usually the only one. The store is full of products, so you need time when you go there to check out what they've got. If you're there when it's not very busy, you may wind-up being helped by a team of good natured sales staff, who know their stuff and have good product advice to offer.

I first heard about LBG from a friend and designer. Since then, I have bought several lamps and fixtures from them - and every time I have been delighted with the selection and the speed and efficiency of the service. On the rare occasion I've had to call them, I found them genial and extremely helpful. Great store!

This was a quick and painless process and we got a great discount, too!!

We've used them in the past, as well. Their selection can't be beat; their prices are great, too. They really shined when one manufacturer shipped three of our fixtures in flimsy boxes and all three fixtures arrived damaged. I reported the damage and e-mailed photos of it to Lighting by Gregory, and their customer service folks promptly got me replacements and made sure the manufacturer shipped these in better, padded boxes. All replacements arrived promptly in perfect condition. Customer service kept in touch the entire time: a model of what a company should do for a customer when things go wrong. They made everything right, and fast.

Brice help me choose fixtures for a complicated lighting plan on a long-term high-end renovation project, he made numerous changes whenever required, tracked and held our order until it was needed on site, was quickly on top of replacements when an item arrived damaged in delivery. Amazing service. Truly lovely person. Great company.
