After 3 weeks have not received item above.

I bought two ceiling fans with built-in LED lights. The weren't on the floor, so we special ordered them, without ever having seen them in action. After hanging the first, I noticed that the LEDs strobed. When I called Lighting By Gregory, they told me to call the manufacturer, which I did. The manufacturer told me to switch out the receiver and the light bulb, which I also did, but it still strobed. The manufacturer also said if it still strobed after doing those switch-outs, I should bring it back for a refund... which I also did. None of this how I wanted to spend my time, but keeping a strobing light wasn't ok for me. I had a bit of friction returning at the Lighting By Gregory because with all the ambient light it was a bit hard to see the strobing, but not impossible. It took a mildly raised voice to get my point across. They didn't want to take it back because it was a Sunday and they couldn't confirm with the manufacturer that they said the fan would be refunded, and if it wasn't refunded, then they would lose the cost of the fan, which had already been hung so couldn't be resold. In the end, they gave me store credit for the full amount of my purchase, which was the right thing to do, but it felt a bit too hard to get there to me. Unrelated: this place has a great selection of ceiling fans.

These guys (and gals) are constantly the best in every category; service, advice, speed,...and price. They frequently beat online pricing and give expert advice, why go anywhere else

I have used Lighting By Gregory for 5 apartments and 1 full floor office. I am not in the construction/design business so I have always needed a great deal of help. David Silverstein has always been my salesperson and he is amazing. If it's not on the floor and it takes patiently going through sales books, making phone calls, etc. he is always there and willing to help until I find something that I love. He is also super knowledgeable about electrical issues and, happily, very willing to give his opinion. They deliver quickly and their prices and not "uptown".

When I first received one of two table lamps from you, it had the wrong lampshade. Ms. Norray Scott at your company jumped on the problem and corrected it. I appreciate very much her courteous and efficient handling of the situation. She made it easy. I would recommend your company to anyone who would rather go online, find exactly the lamp he wanted, order it and receive it in a few days, versus using a hope-for-the-best approach traipsing through the maze of a fixture store.

Viviane was extremely helpful in providing guidance and suggestions and working on alternative options when we ran into some issues with the product ordered. The vendor we selected was a challenge as it went from 2-3 week back order to a 2 month back order. Viviane was great in helping to find an alternative option as well as helping with general design options and worked with me on saving options. This is one area that may need improving as this is second experience where the vendor back ordered item was longer than initially expected. Kind regards, Sal
