LiftMasterReviews of liftmaster.com

Install instructions are an absolute joke, written by somebody who clearly had no experience whatsoever in writting user instructions. And how many people must have proof read it, very worrying. Worse still, given the amount of similar reviews then the company has little interest in finding somebody who can do the job properly. Brackets don't fit properly, what should have been a simple job has turned into a long one.

Staff does not understand their own pricing or what the customer is paying for. Typically need to call 10-20 times to even get a response. AVOID MyQ Liftmaster Chamberlain !!!! Note: Websites and apps lack security protocols.

had two garage door openers in the 22 years I have owned a home with numerus vehicles. Now with the new liftmaster I thought connecting the vehicles would not be a problem but the home link with the lift master only works if the vehicle is in the garage. If the garage door is closed the front bumper has to be only a foot from the door to open sometimes. the company that installed it says not their problem

Hired a licensed professional to replace our garage door opener. We don't them we didn't need a camera or battery backup. They showed up 5 days later with the LiftMaster 6690L, which included the items we didn't need or want, but they insisted it was a GREAT unit. Its quiet, it opens, but NOT with our 2020 Chevy Truck or 2022 GMC Acadia HomeLink buttons in our car. We've spent 5 hours on the phone with LiftMaster (chamberlain) and HomeLink. No one can assist us and refers us to each other. Our installer won't install a different unit because he will "lose too much money." This was a HUGE waste of $1,000. We will NEVER own another Liftmaster opener ever again in our life and would urge you all to NEVER buy this product.

Had the 6690L installed less than 2 weeks ago. Display on wall control is out and no way to connect to use app without it. Nothing on their site to troubleshoot, no support available. $1,500 for junk that breaks in 10 days. Stay away from their product, you will regret it.

Had to LiftMaster Jack Shaft motors installed to replace overhead openers. Nothing but problems. Excessive pressures up and down. No loner seals at top or sides. No API interface to things like Alexa or Hubitat. ANYTHING with LiftMaster/Chamberland Group on it STEAR CLEAR!

I purchased a liftmaster C-1000 garage opener, I wanted a chain drive because I have had better luck in long term service. I took the opener home and started to unpack it... I found the customer service manual and other assorted pieces of information BUT NO INSTALLATION MANUAL... I SEARCHED EVERYWHERE AND ABSOLUTELY NO MANUAL, I READ THE CUSTOMER MANUAL AND IT STATED THAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO DOWNLOAD THE CUSTOMER APP TO GET THE VIDEO WHICH GAVE DIRECTION AS TO INSTALL.... WHAT "GENIUS" THINKS THAT UP... I DON'T WANT TO DOWNLOAD AN APP. I DON'T WANT TO DOWNLOAD ANYTHING.... I CALLED THE COMPANY AND THEY TOLD ME TO "GO HOME AND WATCH THE VIDEO ON MY HOME COMPUTER" .... WHAT AN EPIC FAILURE... A COMPANY TO CHEAP TO INCLUDE A 10 CENT INSTALL MANUAL OR A PARTS MANUAL... HOW STUPID CAN YOU GET... GUESS I CAN START USING ANOTHER BRAND...ONE THAT HAS AN INSTALL MANUAL....

Lift mast very bad on warranty my brand new house is less than 1 yrs old they will not cover any warranty since the unit was bought in 05/24 but my house was sold to me in 3/25 but they go off the build date of the garage opener so they cannot help me only offering a discount. This company should be ashamed on ripping people off. I could understand if the unit was over 5 yrs old but this is just wrong
