CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICIES DO NOT MAKE SENSE

Chair lift would not go up the stairs. Called for service and in less than 1/2 hour determined what it was but didn't have the part on the van. The part takes 10 minutes to install when they get the part in. They want to charge me another service call to come out and install a part they didn't have on their truck. The first service call is for an hour at the rate of 215.00. The 10minute return for not stocking the part is going to cost me over 100.00 more for a return service call. That is very poor customer service. I will not be using them in the future and will let everyone I know to stay away from this company. Buyer beware. Added info 6/6 to your reply. We had the same exact problem happen on the other chair. Part not on van then either. I know from experience it took the service tech no more than 10 minutes to install. I watched him. I felt it was fair that I pay for the part and no service call charge, but you said NO. I even suggested when one of your techs was in the area to stop in, no rush, but No you would still charge the service fee.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry for issues with the chair lift and that you've been unsatisfied with the experience provided. The amount charged for the initial service call is standard for our stairlift service visits. We do carry some parts, but the one needed to solve the issue with your lift is not something we commonly carry. Typically, we charge for the part and the visit, but we offered the part to you free of charge. At no time did we mention that the return to replace the part was only going to be 10 minutes.
