Just attended Life Surge financial class. Although they gave us a lot of information about investing in stocks options and futures, you were asked to talk to a counselor who was trying to sell-1 yr class for $20,000, 2 yr class $30,000 & Life time class for $40,000!!!
ALL THIS UNDER,THE AUSPICIOUS THOUGHT OF BEING RELIGIOUS BASED!!!
Anything I’ve joined “Life time” Eventually, go belly up.
I believe they’re using the religious base so they don’t have to pay taxes.
They offer a lot of info, but this is NOT RIGHT

Prosperity Gospel at its finest
Was excited to spend a day with fellow believers. I was met with the prosperity gospel, and a speaker who went out of his way to swear and flip off the crowd multiple times. Went out of his way to belittle people who are struggling financially. Before he spoke we were told “buckle up buttercup,” and “this man will offend you and if he does, there’s the door.” I am not easily offended at all but there is a line and this man must be an Olympic level long jumper because he sailed right past it and left it unseeable behind him. There is sass, there is sarcasm, and there is hate and bitterness. This man did not embody Christ, he embodied hatred. I have never been more disappointed.

Charleston eventbJsmes Smith speaker
I attended the event in Charleston and it was great until James Smith opened his mouth. We were warned to “suck it up buttercup” by the MC but the un-Christ like words first spoken were disgusting. He stated with there are people there that want to be addressed as they/them —my Lord and Savior LOVES ALL people regardless if they are LGBT community. Did the Holy Spirit speak to Mr Smith and point out sinners for him to persecute? Of course not - I understand he not many support LGBT but they are God’s children and they are no more sinful than he is. A sin is a sin is a sin. My God does not attack with hateful/hurtful words. The LGBT people will stand before God just like we all will and I am disappointed that Life Surge supported those comments. Mr Smith and presumably Life Surge are a reason people turn away from God. I thought the purpose of your organization was to bring people to God - Shame on Life Surge for supporting bigoted beliefs and not loving as God loves. The message I heard was not bringing people to God but that they weren’t worthy of Hid’s love. I’m surprised he didn’t bring in racism because he spoke hateism. My opinion won’t mean anything to Life Surge but what was spoken left many people sickened and I will no longer support the organization no matter how many celebrities are speaking.

Shame on them for using their Christian Platform like this
OK - so mixed emotions here.
Yes, they advertise that they are a faith based, for-profit, entity. So, yes, you expect to be marketed to for products and/or services. Their services mainly involve getting people involved with trading or real-estate. Neither are bad by themselves, but to use a Christian format and venue to push these speculative endeavors where the people are taking the risk, but there is no risk to yourselves is NOT biblical or Christ-like.
Let me explain.
Regarding the trading platform, I've been involved with trading for over 10 years. It takes a LOT of effort, discipline and time to even start to become profitable. It is a documented fact that after 5-years only 7% of traders are still active and only around 1-2% maintain consistent profitability. What does LifeSurge get? They get monthly subscription fees to their online trading services. Folks, please remember that when you trade, it MUST match your lifestyle and personality and risk tolerance. Their strategy is eerily like the Online Trading Academy (OTA) style which will only fit small percentage of the folks taking the classes and is questionable as well as to how profitable it really is. A LARGE percentage of the attendees will lose money and be out in a couple of years, but LifeSurge will have the subscription fees. The old saying is that the only people who really made money in the gold rush were the folks who provided the pick axes and shovels - not necessarily the miners!
The real-estate side is difficult too. It is very possible to make a lot in real-estate, however, LifeSurge puts pressure on you to subscribe to a high dollar mentorship program. If you don't have that, your percentage of success goes down even more.
Yes, they are for-profit, so they can say they are honest, but SHAME on them for using the name of Jesus and a high energy worship event to peddle their wares. I'm VERY disappointed in those high profile worship leaders who I used to admire. Yes, Craig Groeschel and Tim Tebow at our event (with others) - I'm SO DISAPPOINTED in you!!! Your platform and gifts are meant to be for the glory of God and bringing others to Christ, not to make a profit for yourself!!!!! (sounds a lot like folks from the past - Jim Baker)
Yes, I messed up and signed up for the real-estate classes, but came to my senses after reading the review on them too. I sent my form in for a full refund an have called multiple times and left multiple messages. However, I have yet to see my refund nor have I received a call back.
We did enjoy seeing Matthew West. I'm sure they paid him to come and sing and provide the worship time. That was GREAT. I'll exclude him from the negative side of this because I genuinely believe he was a paid performer here and only did worship. He didn't do or say anything to help push the products or services. Only for him am I giving this a 2-star rating. Otherwise it would be a 1-star max.

Hi Paul, we appreciate your perspective and would like to offer clarity on who we are and what we stand for.
Life Surge is a Christian education company that offers premium educational resources designed to equip individuals for Kingdom impact. Our faith as followers of Christ is not a marketing strategy; it is central to who we are. We unapologetically believe in bringing God into every conversation, situation, and opportunity.
We believe that to serve others as the Lord calls us to, we must first be faithful stewards of the resources, time, and knowledge He has entrusted to us. Mastery is never built on shortcuts.
Growth in these areas involves time and intentional effort, a principle reflected in how our education is designed. Our programs are intended for individuals who are ready to invest the necessary time, effort, and resources into personal and professional development. As an education company, we provide structured learning—not financial guarantees—and meaningful progress ultimately depends on the commitment of the individual learner.
We understand that views on financial and educational growth may vary within the Christian community. Even so, we remain committed to serving the Lord through faithful stewardship, with Christ at the center of all we pursue.
For completeness, after reviewing your account, our records show our team contacted you on 4/24/2026 and a refund was issued.
Have a blessed day.

The speakers were motivating
The speakers were motivating. Good names in the Christian community. I wonder if they know the product that is being sold. That said, I signed up for the three day classes @$97 which seemed suspect due to the statement that the classes were $2000 (first it was "thousands") "but the founder of Life Surge agreed to bring it down to $97". What do i have to lose? ... $97. Money back promise. HOWEVER, money back means that I need to find the way to request my money back WITHIN 7 days. I found a slip (notice of cancelation) inside of the book that came with the $97 purchase that reads "You may cancel within 7 business days from the date above..." I have to fill out the slip and get it to them in the mail or in person - 4 hour drive from me, or US postal service - how long will that take now that I am three days out from the event when I paid for the class? After reading these reviews, I see what is going on here, it makes sense. Let's see if I can retrieve my $97. I will keep you posted
Same day 1/20/26 I received a call from Victor at 10am. Victor took my info for the refund without hassle. Polite and professional. Thank you Victor

Hi Peter,
We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us and would welcome the opportunity to better understand any concerns you had regarding the Impact classes. Based on your review, we understand your primary concern related to our refund policy, and we can confirm that a refund was issued.
To clarify, Life Surge is a premium education company that puts God first and focuses on teaching the importance of proper stewardship with the goal of creating Kingdom impact. We operate transparently as a for‑profit organization, offering optional products and services that are outlined on our website under the “About” section.
While not all believers may approach these areas in the same way, we believe Christ should be at the center of every pursuit—including those that challenge us to grow. We would welcome any additional feedback you’d like to share and invite you to email us at [email protected].
Have a blessed day.

I went to the Baltimore event
I went to the Baltimore event. I was not satisfied with any reference to Charlie Kirk. He was not a fan to women of African descent. Too many speakers repeating the same things. Lots not nice and just plain rude - the man with the red shirt. Not enough food vendors. Poor air conditioning in the building. Hot! Not enough worshiping with songs. Few reference to the gospel. Too much marketing - Three times was too much. The greatest disappointment- Priscilla only talked for 30 minutes and last. She didn't need this forum. The people would have come out just for her. It was not what I thought it would be and I wished I would have researched the organization prior to attending.

Hi Ethel,
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We truly appreciate your feedback and the time you took to let us know about your concerns. At Life Surge, we’re committed to continually improving the experience for all attendees, and your perspective helps us do that.
While certain aspects—such as venue temperature and vendor availability—are managed by the venue itself, we’ll keep your comments in mind as we plan future events. You may also consider sharing your thoughts with the venue team, as they often review guest input when making decisions for future events.
We’re grateful for your input and hope to see you at a future Life Surge event. Have a blessed day.

Beware of Wolves in Sheep's Clothing
There were some great speakers but the emphasis was MONEY. A few of the speakers said that because they were so financially successful that they could give more to charities. That is true, however, Jesus said that those that brag have their reward and to not let the right and left hand know what you are doing. It was horrible.

Hi Janice, we appreciate your personal perspective and would be more than happy to address your complaint. For your clarity, Life Surge is a Christian education company of which focuses on the importance of building Kingdom Impact in our communities. It is communicated on our website’s “About” page and across our social media platforms that Life Surge transparently offers additional products and services to our attendees and students. Life Surge believes in being the hands and feet of Jesus by equipping others with resources, but to do that, we must first be good stewards of the resources entrusted to us by the Lord, serving others and not being held back by a position of lack. We understand that not all believers may choose to live this way, but we firmly believe that Christ should be at the center of everything, including challenging topics and stand boldly behind the excellent products and services we offer to our students and attendees. We invite you to review a few Bible verses that Life Surge stands on: Proverbs 13:22, Proverbs 27:23-27, 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12, and Luke 19:17, as well as 2 Corinthians 10:5. Have a blessed day.
